The historic White Lion Ballroom features large windows that let in tons of natural lighting, elegant chandeliers, and a bright, neutral color palette, allowing you to add those special touches that make your day uniquely yours. This space accommodates up to 165 guests. The Lake George Room is a more private location that sets the mood for a romantic evening celebration with 200 guests. The venue also offers a variety of indoor and outdoor ceremony locations.

I loved everything about getting married here. For starters, working with Dawn as my wedding coordinator was amazing. She was so helpful with any little thing I asked and the day turned out exactly as I had envisioned. All of our guests can’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue is and how good the food was — and the venue is undergoing renovations to make that experience even more beautiful (but I’m not going to lie, I think it’s so special that our big day was one of the last weddings with the old setup!)
We also wanted our beloved dog, Rex, to be a part of our big day and Fort William Henry allowed that, so that was incredible!
All of the staff at the hotel were amazing to us, our family & guests. Again, DAWN was INCREDIBLE. It was also great that we all could stay in one place and not have to worry about everyone driving in the Adirondacks at night (which is something I didn’t like about other venues in the area).

Working with FWH, especially their amazing wedding coordinator Dawn, was so easy and fun. Dawn is excellent at coordinating weddings and truly cares about making your wedding day a great experience. She made every pandemic induced change stress-free and easy to deal with, was incredibly accommodating, and ensured that our ceremony was outdoors, despite continuous random rain. Dawn is an excellent communicator and a wonderful person with a wealth of knowledge. FWH is a beautiful venue for a Lake George wedding. -

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Dawn, our wedding coordinator made sure the day went smoothly and was there every step of the way. She even made sure my husband and I stepped out of cocktail hour for a moment to our selves ( much needed!). We postponed and dealt with on and off COVID restrictions - this venue stuck by us through it all! They put us at ease during a unusual and stressful wedding planning experience. The food was exceptional and our guests were extremely pleased with the atmosphere, friendly staff and food. Definitely recommend!Fort William Henry Hotel's reply:

Dawn and her awesome team at The Fort are all over everything!! If you need any help at all setting up a shot, or need some chairs moved, whatever - someone is right there helping you out. I never feel rushed at The Fort because they know the timeline cold and really stick to it - such a treat as a photographer! Gorgeous views of Lake George don't hurt either! The food is outstanding, and every wedding vendor is treated with great care. I love to shoot at The Fort, and look forward to every wedding there.
From the gorgeous views, immaculate venue and professional staff, the Fort William Henry is one of the best this area has to offer for your wedding!
