Florida Studio Theatre (FST) is Sarasota’s contemporary theatre, located in the heart of downtown. It has been in operation in Sarasota since 1973. The Florida Studio Theatre campus is a village of theatres – the historic Keating and Gompertz Theatres, the Parisian-style Goldstein and John C. Court Cabarets, and Bowne's Lab Theatre. Near the Sarasota bayfront, FST brings an energy and vitality to the downtown area. With ten intimate spaces and offering our own in-house bar and catering services, FST has something to make your event unique.

Florida Studio Theatre is Sarasota's wedding venue "hidden gem". Dana is a FABULOUS planner who helped us set everything up to the last detail. They worked with me on every quirky and personal touch I wanted to add! My wedding was PERFECT! Dana was flexible and had everything set up just the way I wanted. The venue is GORGEOUS, reasonable, personal, and unique. I would highly recommend Dana and her team to anyone looking to book and elegant and unique wedding in downtown Sarasota!
