Nancy and Wyatt of First Roll Photography are a Virginia-based couple with a background in the fine arts. This matters, because in the arts you learn not just to craft beautiful images but how to frame meaningul stories. Our photography finds the story within the production.

We look for subdued joy found in a father's tears as his little girl walks down the aisle, the roar of laughter from reunited friends, and overwhelmed couples stumbling their way through shakey vows. We aim to tell the real stories of real people in all the akward splendor of real life because that's where we find real beauty.
