Melanie, the event co-ordinator, was worth every single penny we spent on booking this venue. She was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She helped us make every one of our dreams come true! Every time we needed a recommendation, she pointed us in the right direction. She kept all the problems out of our hands on the day, eased my mind when it started raining before my outdoor ceremony at another venue, set everything up, tore everything down, and made sure my husband and I were well fed and always had something to drink throughout the event.Sent on 07/16/2017
The chef at Firerock made all of our food dreams come true. I literally dream about the salad we had at our wedding. He was willing to work with all of the substitutions I requested as an extremely picky eater.
Could not say enough good things about this place.

We are so pleased that we chose FireRock to host our wedding reception. Melanie and her staff were a dream to work with - so professional and accommodating. Mel was always available to us and took the time to answer a million questions, as well as offer some very helpful advice. She was also a superstar the day of - everything ran so smoothly and she was there from beginning to end keeping an eye on things. The building is lovely and reserved exclusively for you on your wedding day, which was very nice. The food was great ( and incredibly plentiful). We have had more than one person tell us that the prime rib was the best they've ever had. We had no issues at all and are very happy with our decision to have our reception at FireRock.Sent on 05/16/2017

The wedding day coordinators helped us to plan and orchestrate our day. They were worth their weight in gold. They pointed out things we had forgotten, met with us several times to ensure they knew what we were hoping for, and were flexible with our requests (e.g. signature drink, dessert). One of the key things about this venue is that they do a lot of your set-up for you, so you and your friends and family can enjoy the day instead of coming out to the venue in the morning to set up. Tear-down was also great: nothing needs to be done on the night of, so you and your guests can party all night without having to worry about who is going to be taking down the decorations when it's all said and done.Sent on 10/29/2014
The facilities were perfect for our guest list of approx 150 -- plenty of room for everyone. We had our ceremony outside which worked out very well on the covered patio. It is a bit far from downtown London and hotels but we had a bus which solved this problem quite easily.
Food was good throughout the night from cocktail hour to late night snacks. Our menu was as follows:
- cocktail hour: mini quesadillas, smoked salmon canapes, brie and pear tarts, caprese skewers, mini quiches
- mains: bone-in chicken breast, prime rib, eggplant parmesan
- dessert: mini apple and pumpkin pie a la mode
- late night: fruit and chocolate, poutine
Mostly raves, especially for the prime rib, the dessert, and the late night snacks. Some guests didn't like their eggplant parm, and a few who had the chicken thought it wasn't hot enough when served. Also key to note that they were really accommodating for our guests who had allergies (and actually provided a discount off the standard package price for guests with allergies!!)
Value was pretty good -- I think there are probably places out there that provide better value for money, but we were really happy with the service, the food, and the flexibility offered by this venue and would absolutely host another event there in the future.
