Who We Are
Fete & Frivolity Events was created to offer a fresh, innovative combination of wedding planning, event planning, event décor, and event management services to clients living in Dallas, Fort Worth, & beyond; to help them create memorable celebrations for milestone life events.
We believe marriage can be the adventure of a lifetime & we want our couples to have both beautiful weddings & strong marriages. For this reason, we've partnered with local marriage coach Deborah Corporon, through the Twogether in Texas Program, to offer all of our 2017-2018 Partial Planning & Full Planning couples optional enrollment in the Twogether in Texas course at no additional cost to our clients. Couples who complete the course not only get a significant discount on their marriage license, they also begin their lives together with an even firmer foundation for building a future. It's our way of investing in our couple's happiness on their wedding day & in all the days that follow, and it's a gift we're excited to be able to give.

An amazing gem - do yourself a favor and call her!
One of my biggest reasons for a coordinator was to take things off my plate and my mom’s on the day of so we could both enjoy the day and not field questions from family or vendors - well if that was all Amanda had done it would still be the best money I spent wedding planning but it was SO much more.Sent on 02/08/2019
I can’t recommend Amanda enough - she took every stressor off my mind in the months leading up to my wedding and then some. From our very first phone call I felt completely heard and like someone had the answers to the potential problems I couldn’t foresee. Amanda was 100% in my corner every step of the way. Her kind, calm presence was a relief on my wedding day and at the rehearsal the day before. She went above and beyond in the physical logistics of transporting things from the church to the reception site. Before I could even ask about something it was already done. She always answered my texts immediately and is a genuinely lovely person who wasn’t frustrated by my confusion and ignorance over what needs to be done to plan a wedding.
I intend to recommend her to every single friend I have who gets married in the future. Call her! You will see what I mean and you can start to enjoy planning your wedding again!

Amanda is the best thing that happened to me
Please please please do yourselves a favor and book Amanda as your coordinator. From the first time we talked on the phone, she was the person I wanted to work with! Our very first conversation before I had booked her or talked with any other coordinator, we talked for about an hour on the phone about a what she does, how she does it, and what to expect from a coordinator. LET ME TELL YOU this was a very different experience than I had with any other of the coordinators I talked to. Since I had never had a wedding or planned one before like most of you ladies, I needed someone that was very detailed and would walk me through the planning process instead of just a casual chatting session, which is what I got from everyone else. Amanda went over her 8 week out process, her experience with different types of vendors, small things that are always missed that she makes sure don’t slip through the cracks among many other important things. I knew that I wanted to meet her after that. She met me in person with her assistant and short notice on my part, but still made that work for me. She brought books of her previous weddings and I was just amazed by how personable and professional everything had been up to this point, so of course, I booked her! It was the best decision I made for my wedding, hands down. She is soooo detail oriented which is so important! I had mentioned in conversation that I was having a lighting team come out to my venue since there were no lights in the reception area at all and months later she texts me and asks if she can come to that meeting, so she can talk about chord placement because she had remembered that I mentioned it and the date it was, so everything will look great! THAT IS HOW AMAZING SHE IS, but it just keeps getting better!!!!! The one thing I never really thought about was a Plan B (my whole wedding and reception was outside), Amanda coordinated with the lady from the venue and created one for me just in case we needed it! Thankfully we didn’t, but she still went that extra mile to make sure that all of my vendors could be incorporated into a different smaller space and still be beautiful. On our final walkthrough we went over in detail how everything was going to be laid out at the reception and wedding since this was very much a DIY wedding. We had several phone calls together to talk about anything I was worried about or anxious about and she has the most calming voice! I always felt better after talking with her on the phone. She even helped our officiant (my friend) go over his ceremony speech to make sure it ran smoothly since he had never done it before. A few days before the wedding, there had been weeks of rain and there were concerns about how wet the grounds would be. Amanda coordinated ahead of time with every single vendor (I had about 15 different companies bringing things) to let them know where the best places to unload everything would be and also reviewed all of the contracts to let me know if there was any unload distances that the companies required extra money for. SO DETAILED. I really don’t know how to explain how much work her team actually did for the wedding day because normally brides leave all the decorating to the florist. This was not the case for me. I had a very large trailer full of décor along with a “décor plan book” that I made to try to make setting up easy. Amanda and her team executed this AMAZINGLY along with coordinating ALL 15 or so vendors in 1 day. She made very creative decisions on things that needed to be changed from my original plan which was perfect because it was the most beautiful wedding/reception I could have every imagined. Amanda is seriously the best thing that happened to me for my wedding. Please book her. You NEED her. I met with several wedding coordinators throughout the wedding planning process, but from the moment I met with Amanda I knew I wanted her by my side for our special day. She is organized, experienced, funny and caring and I knew I would not be disappointed in hiring her. Amanda and her team not only helped to make our day stress free, but they also were there every step of the way to make sure our wedding was simply amazing! Amanda went far beyond our expectations and anytime I needed advice she was there to help me make the best decisions. Amanda and the whole Fete and Frivolity team are amazing! They are super sweet and personable and as a photographer I can say they are great to work with and so much attention to detail! Amanda's ability to work as a team with other vendors is super helpful as she does a great job making sure everyone has what they need to so the best job and that is much appreciated. I have seen them handle issues if or when they arise with so much grace, it is no doubt that Hiring this team will make your day so much better and exponentially less stressful!
Amanda is simply the best! When you're in Amanda's presence, you're a friend from the get-go. She's that blend of being super creative, fully capable, able to think outside the box and all the while having fun and collaborating well with other people! Fete & Frivolity is a must have for your event!
