Truly generous, intelligent, faithful Christian Pastor, Fr. Kelley worked with us to prepare and conduct our wedding. Highly recommended, and we highly recommend support for his ministry at St. Martin's!

We were so glad to have Father Kelley as our officiant. He worked with us on premarital counseling (pre-cana) and that was when we realized we'd hit the jackpot. He is such a kind, funny person, and believes in really meeting people and his parish community where they are. He is in no way stuffy and is very open-minded, which was so refreshing -- as a lifelong Catholic I have seen my fair share of priests who are not very good with people, and Father Kelley is NOT that. He is ALL about people, which was what we loved.

Father Kelley was PERFECT! If you need a priest for your wedding, GO WITH HIM! We met Father Kelley about 9 months before our wedding to see if he could do our PreCana classes (my husband and I are both catholic and this was also required by the church to complete). Father Kelley is down to earth and so easy to talk to. I attended a few of his services at St. Martin's catholic church as well. I only wish I was still living in the DC area to be a part of his services more often! I had a friend use him for just the classes or just the officiant so he also can do that for you. My guests are still talking about how great he was at the ceremony for making everyone feel welcomed into the church. He made the ceremony fun and did a great job!

Father Michael Kelley was a joy to have as our officiant. Being Catholic, I was so happy to have him do an outdoor ceremony for us. He is funny, witty and gave our guests a good laugh. Perfect for Catholic brides that want an outdoor ceremony.

Father Kelley was the BEST! He was so easy to work with. Even though he is Catholic, he also very realistic and understands the world as it is today. He was easy to talk to, and very polite. I would highly recommend Father Kelley to any Catholic searching for an officiant.

First of all, he's just an amazing person. We met with him on several occasions at his rectory in downtown DC and were so impressed by his work with his parish and in the community. He's an example every person should wish to follow, Catholic or not.

Father Kelley was also extremely easy to work with on planning wedding day logistics. As some reviewers mentioned, he doesn't do rehearsals, but with Father Kelley, there's no need. He's a pro, and it's one less thing for everyone to worry about. We did have one of our friends help coordinate everyone walking down the aisle -- she worked directly with him on the big day.

Our wedding ceremony went off without a hitch, and we were really flattered to have such a wonderful, inspiring priest marry us. Thank you, Father Kelley.

Working with Father Kelley was a true honor. We had an inter-faith ceremony (Catholic/Jewish), and Father Kelley did a beautiful job of highlighting the similarities of both religions - both in our pre-marital sessions and during the ceremony itself. The ceremony was lovely, and several guests (representing both religions) commented on Father Kelley's warmth. We were lucky to be married by him.

Father Kelley is a great guy. My husband and I are both Catholic but had to provide our own priest for our Catholic wedding at a church that is no longer active (St. Aloysius - Gonazaga's HS church). He made our pre-cana super easy, yet personal. We met with him twice - the first time we filled out all the paperwork, got to know each other, and he assigned us homework to complete on our own. The second time we reviewed our "assignment" with him, had some more good conversation, and then we were done! Some churches/priests make it difficult for you to meet all the requirements - Fr. Kelley just wanted to help us get married in the church, just like we wanted to. He does a lot of interfaith ceremonies from what he shared. Highly recommend!
