Excelsior Springs Event Center is located in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York area and offers elegant event space, exceptional service and talented wedding specialists to execute the complete vision of your wedding. Our venue is conveniently located adjacent to the Courtyard by Marriott Saratoga Springs and enables couples and their guests to take advantage of all the hotel’s lodging and amenities. These properties are located in the heart of Saratoga Springs, just minutes from downtown's restaurants, shopping and nightlife along with close proximity to Skidmore College, Saratoga Race Course and Saratoga Golf and Polo Club.
Facilities and Capacity
The Excelsior Springs Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for the couple's wedding. Walls painted in cool tones feel modern under the glow of hand-strung crystal chandeliers. Ceremonies can be held on-site in Excelsior East or West, and the outdoor brick patios with shrubbery and comfortable furniture provide great locations for photo opportunities.

The Excelsior Springs Event Center culinary team provides American cuisine prepared to meet gluten-free, lactose-free, no pork, nut free, organic, vegan or vegetarian needs by special request. The venue provides a cocktail reception featuring passed hors-d'oeuvres and stationery displays prior to serving reception dinner. Couples can choose to have the venue cater in the following styles:

We had the most BEAUTIFUL day at Excelsior Springs! First off, we had to change our venue 4 months before our wedding. Marianna was so helpful, reassuring, and answered any questions we had promptly. She was so organized and had everything laid out for us. She was our saving grace! If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have had our most perfect wedding day! After an hour into our reception we ran out of our favorite beer. She ran downtown and got 6 more cases for us! Not many people can say their wedding coordinator go above and beyond like that! Our guests are still talking about the food, drinks, and how beautiful the venue and hotel were! The best part: the hotel is right next door so no guests had to drive! They hosted our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. All were exceptional! The bridal suite at the hotel is huge and provides so much space for getting ready! The food was AMAZING! I could go on and on about how wonderful Excelsior Springs is! All the staff were so kind as well! Marianna has a heart of gold and would have done anything for us! I’m so glad our original venue fell through because Excelsior Springs was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! -

We loved our wedding at Excelsior Springs in June! The ballroom is beautiful, with siding details, lighting, mirrors, and lovely chandeliers, you hardly need additional decor. It is very well maintained and the cocktail lounge was perfect with a patio alongside so guests could get outside to get fresh air throughout the event. The Event Center is next door but separate from the Marriott so you have your own space but it’s easy for guests staying over to get back to their rooms in your room block. It was great working with Colleen Whitaker to plan our event - we originally scheduled the wedding for October 2020 and postponed it due to the pandemic, Colleen was very flexible and accommodating to help us reschedule the date and work through different iterations of the wedding based on the current COVID-19 restrictions. She was also very helpful to talk through general wedding options and figure out what we wanted. The Chef did a tasting meal a few months out so we sampled hors d'oeuvres and entrée options before choosing - we loved the hors d’oeuvres! We had great service throughout the day/night and would highly recommend a wedding at this venue. We were also very happy with the breakfast buffet we did at the Marriott the day after as well. Awesome - so supportive the planning process was made so easy due to the attention to detail given by this team!
Alyssa was AMAZING! She always responded to all of our questions immediately and was flexible with every request we had. All of our guest (50 rooms) said great things about their stay. From setting up our decor, letting my husband and I and bridal party check in early, amazing food we wouldn’t have changed a thing about our wedding. We cannot rate this team more highly!Excelsior Springs's reply:

From the moment I arrived everyone made me VERY welcome and were exceptionally helpful. First-class service all the way. Alyssa and everyone on her team are wonderful and so friendly. I'm very certain the couple and their families had a brilliant experience throughout their wedding day and weekend at the Courtyard by Marriot hotel next door. The staff and service were a big reason why. Not to mention the delicious food choices. In other words, everything was perfect and done right from the getting ready and ceremony and throughout the reception party. Impressed would be an under-statement. We love working at Excelsior Springs. The staff are always great to work with and the setting is perfect for an on site ceremony, separate cocktail hour room and then a great room for your reception! A beautiful setting for any event. Check them out for your next event.
