I started Events by Meagan in 2011 after having planned weddings, corporate meetings, and cocktail parties on behalf of a number of country clubs, organizations, and restaurants in Boston and on Cape Cod. I was lucky enough to have found my calling prior to attending college, which is why I decided to study Entertainment Management. There I learned that Event Planning was essentially Project Management and that organization and attention to detail were huge factors in the success of an event. However, it wasn't until I hit the ground running that I realized how important good personal skills and a good attitude were. Fortunately for me (and you), that's already part of who I am. :)

Meagan was amazing to work with and we could not thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication to our wedding weekend. My wife hiring Meagan was the best decision she ever made(even better than deciding to marry me!!). We can not thank Meagan enough for pulling off the most epic weekend of our lives. She stepped up and handled everything for us in a professional, timely manner and allowed us to sit back and enjoy the whole weekend. Outstanding! Not only as a planner but as a personality and a person. Meagan was meticulous. From start to finish she was on top of every detail. I was a particularly anti Pinterest bride and I was very anxious about the decor planning portion of our wedding... It seemed like I would never get through it. Meagan made this portion of planning so simple and fun! She emailed me 20 plus photos for each and every decor element (sweetheart table, cocktail tables, gift table, etc.) I then went through and selected what I liked and didn't like (which was so fun!) and after we went back and forth a few times and it was all nailed down she went and searched for each element at the best price! That's just one small example but a perfect one. Then there's the day of: everything and I mean everything went off without a hitch. We didn't think about one thing the entire day we just enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. We later found out the extents she went to to make our night stress free, she dealt with disgruntled guests, late guests, gift box, crawling under tables to fix decor elements, etc. We knew of none of this (until we took her out to dinner as a thank you and made her tell us). I was also very impressed with her ability to work with the venues planner and not step in any toes she made them feel just as involved and important so there was no tension. Her value is immeasurable we cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for attention to detail and the wedding of their dreams!Sent on 11/04/2015

Meagan was an absolute godsend for our wedding! We had lots of moving parts on that day, and even a power outage, and Meagan helped everything to run smoothly and without a hitch. I had the pleasure of working together with Meagan for a fall wedding in 2015 and it was absolutely amazing to have her in charge of all the details, she really made the wedding come together beautifully despite some setbacks and challenges! She is very professional, resourceful, creative, and just fun to work with. Her experience really shows in the way she deals with both clients and vendors. She is at the top of my list for Boston area wedding planners and I really hope some of my brides hire her so we can work together again in the future!
