We fell in love with this venue!
When my fiance and I were looking at venues, we had a very vague idea of what we might be looking for, but even driving on Esser's property, we knew this was for us! The long driveway and tucked-away nature of the "campus" was breathtaking! Then, we got to meet with Jamie and her husband, and felt so comfortable and cared for! Jamie helped us feel at ease and listened to our vision for the day and how to make it uniquely special. She is experienced in wedding world, understanding about the pressures Brides and Grooms are under, and super accommodating and helpful! We had access to the entire property for photos and videos the day of, and even though the weather pushed our ceremony inside the barn, it was beautifully intimate, as Jamie helped us pull it off flawlessly!Sent on 01/01/2019

Esser Estate at Blue Hound Farm was an absolutely amazing venue for our wedding. If you want a no nonsense venue for about 100 people with beautiful landscapes outside and a rustic barn on the inside, Blue Hound Farm is without a doubt the best choice. The new owners, Jamie and her husband did everything in their power to make our day special. When we found out the previous owner had sold the venue, we were very concerned about things going wrong and all the issues associate with new ownership but this was the complete opposite of reality. Jamie assured us that out contract would remain in place and that they were going to renovate the farm and its facilities. They did a great job making the venue even more beautiful, landscaping the grounds, completely redoing the bridal suite (it’s awesome), new tables and chairs throughout, and updating the ceremony site. I think they pretty much updated the entire place but somehow kept all the rustic charm in place. With all of that, I would say it was a great experience in and of itself but that wasn’t all. On the day of our wedding, the flowers that were delivered were all wrong, and we didn’t know how we ever going to fix this with 6 hours until the wedding. With a quick call and a rundown of the situation, Jamie called a local vendor that she had a relationship with and they were on their way with new flowers, bouquets, and boutonnieres. In less than 3 hours we had new flowers that were exactly what the bride wanted. Without Jamie offering to help the situation, our day could have gone sideways quickly, but she stepped up in a huge time of need and saved our day. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how it was a perfect fit for our wedding, so thank Blue Hound for making our day possible, we truly are grateful for your top notch service and beautiful venue. Highly recommend this location for any couple wanting the perfect rustic barn wedding.Sent on 09/10/2017

Blue Hound's slogan is "Magic Down the Lane", and it truly is just that. We knew the second we visited that it would be where we would have our wedding. It is a hidden gem, and after seeing several other "farm" venues in the area, I can say that this one is by far the best. The others may offer a barn, but none offer hayrides, live animals and a true country experience. Everything is perfect about this venue! Our guests raved it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The value and service are top notch as well!Sent on 11/22/2016
