My background as a DJ and entertainer goes back over 30 years when I started spinning in high school with real vinyl. For several years I worked independently as a club DJ and for other companies as a mobile DJ specializing in weddings and other life events. I became an active duty Marine Corps officer upon graduating from college, and continued to moonlight as an event DJ for a time while I was on active duty. After 10 years of active duty, with a combat tour thrown in there along the way, I went straight to graduate school at the University of Chicago. Graduate school helped me trasition to a career in financial services that started in New York, NY, but eventually brought me back to Sweet Home Chicago in 2012.

I started this business out of a passion for entertaining and making life events unforgettably fun. Even though my professional life took some turns along the way, there was always a burning desire to get back into DJ entertainment and event production. My father passed away a few short years ago and this made me realize that life is too short and you must chase your passion while there is still time. This became the genesis of Elevate Event Group. Clients who have worked with me see the passion I have for their special day and the fun that I bring to their events.
