We loved working with Amanda! We used her full service package, so we spent over a year planning our wedding with her, and can't recommend her enough. A few points that stood out:
1. Vendors- we weren't from the area where we were getting married so this was huge for us. Amanda had an incredible network of vendors and was able to tailor them to our budget. They were all incredibly nice, and easy to work with, and went above and beyond to make our wedding incredible.
2. Day of coordination- we didn't really think about this until the day of the wedding itself, because it was just part of the package, but Amanda and Gavin were INCREDIBLE on the wedding day itself. They truly took any worrying, planning, and problem solving off of our plate so we were able to relax and enjoy the day, confident they were crushing it.
3. Peace of mind- we were anxious about planning our wedding, and the timelines and workload involved. We left every call with Amanda with palpable senses of relief- she was great at keeping us on track, and telling us to relax when we were worrying about things too early in the timeline or unnecessarily. The resources (checklists, timelines etc.) she provided made the workload seem manageable when spread out over a year. When you spend as much time with a person as you will your wedding planner, it helps when they're kind, patient, and funny. Go with Amanda- you won't regret it!

I recall my friend maybe 2 years ago saying they were going to use Electric City as their wedding planner, within that time frame ALL of my friends have used them, including myself for the day of planner. Gavin, has an eye for style and was so helpful giving advice and his opinion (very beneficial for an indecisive bride).
On our wedding day, Gavin and Sue made it so stress-free. They kept everything organized and running smoothly. They were beyond helpful, prepared, and made me feel so calm knowing I was in good hands. I would highly recommend them over and over again. Having Electric City Events Co. there for our wedding definitely helped make our day absolutely perfect. Book them, you won't regret it!

Amanda and Gavin at Electric City are simply THE BEST. We were planning a backyard wedding and knew we wanted to hire a planner to help with set up and logistics. From the moment we first got on the phone with Amanda, she was extremely professional and so so excited to help us execute our vision. She was 100% on board and supportive of every decision we made, and she expertly navigated us through every decision with advice, suggestions, and honesty when we needed it. Her experience is just incredible, and she has the best relationship with other vendors in the area, so her recommendations for other vendors were absolutely perfect. I was so calm throughout the entire planning process and on the day because I knew Amanda and Gavin had everything under control so I could just enjoy every second! I had several people say I was the calmest bride they’d ever seen, and I give so much credit for that to Amanda and Gavin. On our wedding day, Amanda and Gavin were on site with us the entire day, setting up and keeping me together and excited. Gavin even helped my amazing photographer by getting our first look set up and holding my veil to catch the wind for the perfect photo! At the reception, Amanda had a drink ready for me at all times, helped me hold my dress to walk around, and just was truly so fun. It even rained a bit on the day, and Amanda and Gavin took care of EVERYTHING so that everyone could just enjoy! We could NOT have had the wedding we did without Amanda and Gavin, and we are so so thankful. On top of how simply phenomenal they were, the best part was that planning with Amanda was like having your best friend plan your wedding - she just GOT US. I could not have asked for a better experience!
