A wedding is a union. The imagery of your wedding should be equally timeless - simultaneously of the
moment and of the future.
Dan Rohde of DVA Photography is an artist who not only captures the event itself, but also the tapestry of emotions
and candid moments that make up the couple's personal story.
Daniel Rohde received a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography from the world-renowned, Brooks Institute of Photography. His training in both photography and motion pictures allows him to capture with a still camera, not only moments, but the movement of a wedding. Daniel lives in Fairhope, Alabama with his wife, Ashleigh, and their four children.
"I believe that every wedding is a unique blend of people and emotions. There is no greater moment for a couple than their wedding day. Photojournalistic photography captures the true story and spirit of the wedding. There are moments that happen so quickly - so spontaneously - they need to be preserved forever."
"You want to have a relationship of trust with your photographer and feel confident that he or she is able to capture these shots. The "formal" portraits of participants and family are taken in a minimal amount of the time, so wedding party and guests can focus on the celebration of the day. The authentic story is further captured creatively in the candid shots. I treat every wedding as a unique event that I am blessed to be a part of."
