District Winery

District Winery hosts full-service winery weddings for up to 200 guests. The first commercial winery in Washington, DC, District Winery is located next to Navy Yard in the Capitol Riverfront community along the Anacostia River. The modern, sophisticated, waterfront wedding venue with floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace, and sweeping river views is the ideal venue for your wedding.

District Winery weddings are full service and include our highly regarded wedding cuisine and wines made onsite. Couples will work with a District Winery event manager who will assist with all of the details, from helping curate the perfect wedding menu to coordinating with wedding vendors to ensure seamless execution. All District Winery weddings are turnkey and include the use of our custom walnut tables, chairs, high top tables, bar stools, marble topped bars, china, glassware, flatware, linen napkins, printed menus, and small table top items to enhance your decor.

An ideal venue for weddings of up to 200 guests, District Winery’s distinctive design and flexible spaces offer wedding couples options when it comes to their big day. Host your ceremony on our wraparound terrace with sweeping waterfront views or in our second floor, indoor private space with floor to ceiling windows. Enjoy cocktail hour either outdoors on the terrace or on our mezzanine level overlooking the winery production space and barrel room. Then dine and dance the night away with unobstructed riverfront and sunset views. Your wedding guests will revel in discovering unique design details as they explore the midcentury modern inspired venue and mingle in a picturesque setting.

Expert Management and Service

Our passion is creating the best wedding celebration possible for you and your guests. Highly trained District Winery catering and service professionals will serve as your wedding bartenders and waitstaff. Additionally, each couple works with a dedicated Event Manager, who confirms all wedding details, acts as a liaison with vendors, and remains on site the day of your wedding to guarantee that everything is executed to perfection.

In addition to being a premium winery, we also deliver a remarkable culinary experience. Our cuisine is managed in-house by our culinary team and we offer both family-style and plated dinner service. Our refined wedding menus highlight seasonal ingredients to provide you and your guests with a memorable dining experience. In addition to our standard offerings, wedding couples also have the option to include signature cocktails, a raw bar, late-night stations, wine bottle favors, and more.

We take great pride in our culinary offerings, so we give all District Winery wedding couples the opportunity to experience our cuisine before finalizing their wedding menu. After booking a District Winery wedding, couples are invited to group couples tasting events where they taste their way through our menu items and wines in our private wedding venue space.
