Crowne Plaza turned out to be a beautiful setting for our reception. I was a little concerned about the crazy carpet, but you couldn't even tell when everything was all set up. Our wedding planner got pregnant and left, but the rest of the team jumped right in and took over seamlessly. Many of the rooms were upgraded for our guests to stay in, and my husband and I got a free room. We were also able to rent out a side area of the upstairs rooftop bar for our guests to mingle after the wedding with snacks.Sent on 06/30/2015

Melissa and Leighton were so helpful throughout the entire planning process. Things really kicked into high gear for the venue in the last 2-3 months and they answered all our questions and assured us everything would run smoothly. They helped us get our menu exactly right and the day of the wedding took care of everything we asked for. We chose a hotel because we knew they would have the resources to handle our guests and we wouldn't have to worry about bringing in every small piece we needed; the Crowne was a great choice for our budget, wedding size, and the location was perfect.Sent on 04/05/2018

Short version: The cleaning staff entered our suite the day after the wedding 45 minutes before check-out and put everything (including my wedding dress!) in garbage bags and threw out smaller items we were planning to keep.Sent on 11/28/2017
Long version: We had a block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza. We stayed in the Champion Suite. Everything went well until my new husband and I returned to our suite at 11:15 am to clean and pack up for check out at noon. We had used the suite to get ready, so we had lots of food, drinks, and other supplies there. When we exited the elevator, all of the doors were propped open and we were shocked to find cleaning staff inside our room. We asked where our belongings were and we were directed to a pile of garbage bags by the door. Some of our things were missing, including a set of champagne glasses, their carrying case and some food and drink we had intended to save, and we were told the things had never been there. The cleaning staff then refused to leave the room and watched as we carried out the garbage bags, with no offer to help or an apology. At the front desk, we confirmed that check out was noon and we had not overstayed. My husband asked to speak to the manager and Joaquin came and offered his apology. Again, no help was offered beyond that. He watched us drag our belongings, including my wedding dress, out of the lobby in their garbage bags. We contacted the sales team we had worked with and they were more responsive. At first, they offered to refund our room and pay for the lost items. In the end, we got a full refund, but the offer to cover the lost items never came to fruition. We appreciated that the sales team offered a sincere apology and we hope they are able to work with the other departments within the hotel to ensure this doesn't happen again.
