Crissey Farm, a banquet hall in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, hosts beautiful rustic Berkshire Weddings in a classic, charming setting. A nod to the land it was built on, Crissey Farm is a new construction built in 2008. From 1850-1950 the land was a modern dairy farm. Now Crissey Farm also owns and operates it's well established brewery (1995) adjacent to the venue, Barrington Brewery, which provides fresh craft beer for their wedding guests. This venue sits at the base of Monument Mountain, offering beautiful mountain views and is conveniently located adjacent to several hotels and motels.
Facilities and Capacity
Up to 200 guests can join couples for their wedding at Crissey Farm. With a large interior banquet hall, couples have the option to host their wedding ceremony indoors or outside on the flat green lawn in front of a romantic screened pergola that's decorated with flowers and ivy. Inside, couples can wed in front of the stone fireplace. The indoor space also accommodates receptions, where exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings give the room a simplistic and rustic vibe.

There's no way I'm going to remember everything I appreciated about the coordinators at Crissey Farm, but I'm going to do my best.
Having your ceremony & reception venue, catering, cake and day-of coordinator all coming as part of this package is INCREDIBLE. I didn't have to worry about tables, linens, chairs, hors d'oeuvres, the bar, everything was taken care of on site. They, having done this so many times, were able to make suggestions that truly enhanced our experiences and the experiences of the guests. It made everything SO easy.
Additionally, we had to reschedule twice because of Covid and honestly the process could not have been easier. They made themselves available for quick video calls where we picked new dates. They let us know what times were available and we just bumped ourselves down the line.
On top of all of this the professionalism lead to a perfectly executed day. I didn't have to worry about anything. Chelsea was there to handle the schedule and keep things moving and I just go to hang back, sip champagne, and show up when I was called for. It gave me freedom and flexibility to chat with all my guests and truly enjoy every single second of this celebration.
They made my wedding so easy that now, on the on the other side of it, I do not understand why people get stressed about weddings. I can not recommend them more.

The venue is beautiful and throught the wedding our guests could not say enough great things about the venue, food, and staff. -

Crissey Farms was perfect for our wedding of 150 guests. It allowed us to feature both an indoor and outdoor space that seamlessly flowed into each other. The food far exceeded our expectations, and was extremely reasonably priced. Chelsea and Gary are excellent to work with, are very thoughtful and experienced, and responsive. Chelsea also serves as a great day-of coordinator, which was a huge help to us. We were able to host our welcome party and after party at Barrington Brewery, their other/attached location, which made for a lot of fun variety for the wedding weekend. There are a bunch of good hotels in walking distance, which reduces the complexities of shuttling guests back home after the wedding. Also ample overflow parking which makes it easy for guests to travel in from out of town and leave their car overnight if needed. Plenty of room to put up our 30x60 foot tent in the outdoor area for the ceremony. Staff was all extremely helpful, organized, and detail oriented. And to boot, its extremely reasonably priced for what it offers/the northeast region. Can't recommend them enough.-

Team
Gary Happ has a long established history in the hospitality business in Great Barrington, opening his first restaurant in 1977. In 1995 he transitioned his focus to one the county's oldest operating brew-pub, Barrington Brewery. In 2008 he had the oppertunity to build Crissey Farm, a full-service wedding venue, adjacent to the Brewery.
His Daughter, Chelsea, came on board as General Manager/Event Coordinator in 2015 and they now work as a team on each event.
