From start to finish Cathy was absolutely amazing! A friend of mine recommended her and I'm so thankful that she did. Weddings don't always go as planned and we were thrown a lot of curve balls before and during the wedding. Without Cathy's experience, advice, instruction, organizational and leadership skills we would have been left in a panic! My husband and I had Cathy's Day of Coordination package and she went above and beyond for us. We got to focus on each other and enjoy our big day while Cathy and her assistant took care of everything else a wedding involves. Anything that came up she handled amazingly and professionally. Cathy helped us plan our wedding and was there for us right up until our wedding day. She helped guide us towards reputable vendors, such as our marriage commissioner, photographer, decor/flower arranger and DJ. They all did fantastic work and were easy to contact and work with. Muriel did an amazing job on our bouquets and centre pieces. We experienced none of the horror stories that are heard on social media.

I really wanted our ceremony to be outside, but in the morning it looked like it was going to rain. Our venue organizer wanted to move it inside, but Cathy stepped in to keep it outside and made extra preparations to move it in at the last minute if necessary. The weather cooperated and we had our ceremony outside--this meant the world to me. Our reception was beautiful, they took care of all the set up and take down. It was so nice to simply just enjoy our day without the extra stress. I would definitely recommend Cathy and her team!

My husband and I used Cathy for our recent wedding at the Banff Springs hotel and thoroughly enjoyed working with her! We hired Creative Weddings for full coordination and throughout the entire process Cathy was attentive, organized, and kept us right on track. We were able to find a balance in recommendations for vendors from her, as well as ones I had sought out on my own to create the perfect wedding day of my dreams. On the day of the team had everything under control, as a bride I did not worry about a single thing and was just able to enjoy the very special day. I cannot say enough about how amazing Cathy from creative weddings and design was. We hired her for our wedding and she created the exact vision I had for our wedding. She was always available and flexible and took care of everything-not to mention so professional when unexpected circumstances occurred! My fiancé and I were so grateful for everything. I was told by a friend of mine that the only thing she regretted from her wedding was that she did not have a wedding planner/coordinator the day of her wedding, so one of the first vendors I looked for was a wedding planner. Cathy from Creative weddings was my dream come true. She met with me on multiple occasions before the wedding to ensure that the vision I had in my mind was transferred to her mind. She would respond to my late night emails of stress and provide detailed, well thought of, and caring responses to my concerns and worries about my big day. She even helped me find my florist. I would 100% recommend Cathy to anyone who is planning a wedding and wants to reduce the stress of planning it on their own. I was completely stress free on the day of my wedding and did not have any vendors asking me questions because Cathy was the contact person for my wedding. This allowed me to fully enjoy my beautiful day with all of my friends and family. Additionally, many of the guests at my wedding told me that it was one of the most organized and planned weddings they have ever been to and I know that was because of Cathy.

We had the best experience with Cathy at Creative Weddings. She took so much stress and anxiety away by being the rock from the time we first met until the very last people left the venue after the big day. She was extremely organized and knew exactly what to do and when to do it in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our wedding. When she says 'all you have to do on the wedding day is show up' it couldn't have been more true. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for a wedding other than Cathy!

Cathy was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond what we had hoped for. She was a pleasure to work with; both offering suggestions and allowing us to decide for ourselves. Our wedding took place in a small ranch outside of Calgary, with an outdoor ceremony and reception inside a large tent. Cathy and her team helped guide our vision to fit the size of the space, the size of our budget and still maintain the overall theme we were aiming for. I am a New Jersey resident and was planning a destination wedding in Banff, Alberta - sight completely unseen. I was fortunate to have found Creative Weddings and Decor. I am extremely meticulous and had a fairly good idea of the aesthetic of what I was going for, but definitely needed guidance and a planner to organize and execute my vision - after all, I was two timezones and several thousands of miles away with absolutely no connection to the area. I worked primarily with Cathy for planning and also with Muriel who does their floral design. I spoke to Cathy on at least a monthly basis by phone from about a year out from the wedding then of course several more phone calls as the date neared. She made the whole process very easy and went out of her way on several occasions to accommodate me and my oftentimes indecisive choices. She was always patient, reassuring, responsive and was respectful of my budget. I had a very specific look I wanted for my floral centerpieces, and while I was initially a bit concerned as I had not really seen anything similar in their floral portfolio, she and Muriel reassured me that they could replicate it. Well, my wedding was last week and it went SEAMLESSLY, at least from my point of view! I was not concerned about a SINGLE thing. There of course were some small hiccups that were out of anyone's control but Cathy and her team handled them flawlessly. I was completely blown away as I saw my vision come to life. Everything from the floral centerpieces, to the lighting, the tablescapes, menus/stationary was perfect. And more importantly, I trusted Cathy and her team and spent my day worry-free and was so happy to be able to just focus on celebrating with my new husband and all our family and friends. Oh and one of my vendors who had not previously worked with Creative Weddings before, even asked me how I found them, stating Cathy was extremely professional and was very much on top of things. I received so many compliments from both sides of my family (who are actually normally quite hard to impress!) on how beautiful the wedding was and more importantly, how much fun they had. I highly recommend Creative Weddings Planning and Decor and am so grateful for Cathy and her team.

Cathy and her team at Creative Weddings were absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, Cathy was there for us walking us through everything and gave us advice on how to deal with wedding stress. She made everything about us and our day, and never lost sight of our vision for the day. Cathy also always made time for us, and got back to us with any question we may have had in a timely manner no matter how busy she may have been. Muriel, from Creative Wedding Floral department, made the most beautiful flower arrangements, and our guests still talk to us about how exquisite the flowers were to this day. Cathy definitely goes above and beyond your expectations, and will never come to you with a problem without a solution as well. It's clear Cathy and her entire team have lots of experience and know what they are doing. We owe so much to Cathy and the Creative Wedding design team, as they worked so hard, and on the day of the wedding made sure we didn't lift a finger, and only enjoyed ourselves and our guests.

I truly believe I wouldn't have had the wedding of my dreams if it weren't for Cathy, and I will never be able to repay her for that, as it was such a magical day. We believe Cathy will be the best investment you make in planning your wedding and we cannot recommend her or her team enough.
