The rector (Margaret) has made planning our wedding and reception so easy and wonderful. We were given the choice of hiring her for an Episcopal ceremony or bringing in our own officiant for a non-Episcopal ceremony. The church has both an organ and a piano, and the music director is available to hire for wedding ceremonies. The church itself is beautiful and rustic (it used to be a dairy farm). The reception hall is also beautiful and is big enough for our 100-person wedding. The church grounds are also very well kept. There is plenty of parking for guests. Highly recommended!Sent on 02/09/2016

After searching for the perfect venue for our ceremony, we landed on Messiah. The rector, Margaret was wonderful to work with and made everything very comfortable and easy to coordinate. Our family and friends fit perfectly in the church, which was very welcoming. I highly recommend Messiah for your wedding ceremony and if you are looking for a reception venue, their parish hall is also available!Sent on 08/25/2016

We knew we were having our wedding at Messiah because that is our parish. However, when our reception venue plans changed suddenly 5 days before the wedding, we decided to have the reception at Church of the Messiah as well. This wound up being a blessing because it was a one-stop, one level wedding venue which was especially helpful for our elderly parents! There is plenty of parking and the church and hall are handicapped accessible.Sent on 08/30/2016
There are many beautiful places for photos on the church grounds. The church itself is rustic with comfortable seating. Ledges behind the altar and all around the church held our 60+ mums for a beautiful fall touch. (Hint: use the flowers as your favors!) Margaret, our pastor, will help you plan the perfect Episcopal or non-denominational wedding service. The church's talented music director helped us choose beautiful songs for piano and organ. We also used a vocalist, flutist, photographer, and ushers from the church but you would be able to make your own plans. There is a nice outdoor area for your "reception line" and nice benches for guests to sit at if they want a break from indoors during dinner! . We had 20 children at the wedding, so it was nice to have a grassy area where they could go outside if they wished. Dinner was in the church hall which easily accommodated our 110 guests and DJ. Food buffet tables and drink tables were in the hallway which had beautiful glass windows. (Hint: put baby pictures of bride and groom on the hallway windows!) The food caterer was pleased that there was a large kitchen to keep the overflow of food. We did lots of dancing and as the evening came, the beautiful white lights on the overhead beams were cozy. We were so pleased!
