The Chapel on the Green is non-denominational wedding chapel located in Yorkville, Illinois, west of Chicago. The 1855 New England style structure is on National Register of Historic Places. A piano and original 1899 pipe organ is available for use.
With a seating capacity of 175 our building features stained glass windows, preparation rooms with antique furniture, and a lower level dining area for about 100 people. The building is located across from Yorkville’s Town Square and features a gazebo, popular for wedding photography. There is ample free parking. Our chapel is a very affordable, traditional wedding venue.
My husband and I dreamed of getting married in a little white chapel, and Chapel on the Green was the PERFECT place! So much so that we centered all our planning around it. Howard and everyone we worked with were incredibly kind and helpful. All our questions were answered quickly. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. And the chapel itself is beautiful! The history, the stain glass, the church bells. Everything was picturesque, and we have received so many compliments from our guests about the chapel. I would highly recommend having your wedding at Chapel on the Green!

Dream Chapel
My husband and I had our January wedding at the Chapel. We absolutely loved it! It’s such a pretty chapel and I couldn’t have imagined anything better. Howard was so sweet and accommodating to us, he was wonderful to work with and get to know. It was very helpful to have Hayley, the event coordinator, come with the price of the chapel to assist us during the rehearsal and day of the wedding. I will forever treasure our wedding at the Chapel on the Green!

Would ALWAYS recommend Chapel on the Green! Amazing place and more amazing people. A well priced, easy going, simple, beautiful place to have a wedding. Howard and the girls made wedding planning such a snap, answered any and every question on time and the wedding day went perfect. The Chapel is wonderful inside and out and has a great gazebo or the Fox River down the street to take photos at. This place truely is a historical landmark and I could be happier I got married at a place that means so much to the community and it’s history.
