Carissa and I have been best of friends from many years now, meeting in college and loving every moment together. There I watched her continue to fall in love with photography and was amazed with her work and dedication to the business. It was no surprise to me the success that came to her after we moved out and away from each other.

My husband and I were engaged June 13, 2015 and knew plans would be needed for our coming wedding in November. Carissa was the first person I thought of and contacted. She was quick to offer the engagement session and I am very thankful she did. It took a while to find a date that worked for both of us between weather issues and other conflicts, but our date (two weeks before the wedding) was perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything different. It was great "practice" for our wedding day. Her instructions were easy to follow and she is so fun to work with. Carissa also went out of her way to meet us at a dear location with family history on both sides of our family. It meant so much! And these pictures... WOW! Absolute perfection! She captured our love for each other so sweetly in these pictures.

Fast forward two weeks and we have made it to WEDDING DAY! I was certainly spoiled to have Carissa there as my photographer, but also a friend. It was a big load off of my shoulders to know she was taking care of this part. Even when I was running late for pictures before the wedding (and stressing about it) she was there to let me know we had plenty of time and would make it work.... And that she did! We took pictures in two different locations after the ceremony and Carissa was such a professional finding the best shots. During the reception, she didn't miss a moment! Our pictures aren't only beautiful, but show who we are as a couple and family. THANK YOU Carissa Marie Photography for being such a huge part of our day... And maybe life! ❤️

I randomly found Carissa through internet searches and yelp, I chose her because she was in the area of where we were having our wedding and because I really liked her photos compared to the other photographers in the area. I had know idea that she would be so wonderful beyond that!

When we had our first meet, I was relieved and surprised when she said something along the lines that she was not a stickler for time. I was worried about how the time would work out because I needed her from 2-6 and only paid for this time. She laughed at me because I thought she was going to be clocking in her hours- and I am grateful she is not! She worked with me, and time was flexible (Thank goodness!)

Carissa was the best photographer I could have ever asked for! She was so helpful from the first time I met her, with her helpful folder, and a bunch of nice surprises along the way until our wedding day! She is great with making us feel comfortable and working with us to make our pictures turn out great!

I highly recommend all couples take advantage of the engagement session because we were not into it-but Carissa highly recommended it and she was so right! It was like a "practice" shoot for our wedding day. It helped us become comfortable in front of the camera, and her, while still being ourselves. When our wedding day came, and still when my husband and I take pictures now, it is soo much less awkward because of Carissa's guidance and direction.

You can count on her to respond promptly, she is highly reliable, helpful, and we are blessed to have picked her as our photographer!

Carissa did photos for my husband and I on two separate occasions. The first was our engagement pictures and the second was our wedding. Carissa did a great job, I absolutely love our pictures! She was flexible and worked well with us for engagement pictures and worked with our schedules! She traveled around town with us without complaint to help us get the best shots. She also did a wonderful job with our wedding! She worked well with both of our families and kept on my time schedule ( I can be a little OCD). She was able to capture all the big moments and we got beautiful pictures! Looking back the only thing I would have done different is ask for more candid photos versus having them all posed. Overall Carissa is a fabulous photographer, reasonably priced and great to work with! I would highly recommend her!
