CakedByGOU is a Bronx based business known for creating custom buttercream and fondant cakes, as well as treats for all weddings and special occasions. Under the leadership of owner and City Tech graduate Magou, and almost 9 years in the industry, she strives on making sure to bring every couples vision to light.

CakedByGOU was established in 2017 as a way to serve her Gambian community, where cake artists weren't really known. Prior to that Magou worked as a pastry chef for many restaurants and establishments such as Magnolia Bakery, Riverpark, Intersect By Lexus, and Eataly. After gaining the skills and experience from these organizations, Magou put her focus into CakedByGOU full time. The company grew even more from love and support of the community and word of mouth. With affordable prices, great customer service and communication, and a unwavering passion for this cake world, Magou continues to serve her community and so many more outside of it.

We provide cakes and treats made from scratch using halal products. We do not work with alcohol or gelatin. Delivery and setup are available for all cakes and treats with prices varying based on venue location. Cake stands and spacers are available for rental.
