We had our wedding reception at Brick House and I couldn't recommend it more. Jonathan was very responsive, honest and reciprocal, their contract was clear and concise, and we got our security deposit back. The space looked great after we set up tables, put up lights, and the changing rooms afforded us (the bride and groom) some quiet space to reflect with family. 100% would recommend.Sent on 10/08/2018

We had our wedding this past April and we were able to book with Jonathan two months before the big day. He was easy to work with and extremely professional. The venue itself was perfect for our 300+ guestlist. The inside is rustic yet chic and modern. I had a private room where I was able to get my hair and makeup done with my bridesmaids and my husband had his own space to be with his groomsman. The bathrooms for both suites are clean and modern; (marble & gold galore) same goes for the guest restrooms. A huge reason why I chose this venue other than it being in LA, was because most other venues came with a list of restrictions. With Brick House Studios, I was able to bring in my own caterers, drinks, live music, and rentals. If you're looking for an industrially pinterest dreams location, look no further:)Sent on 09/10/2018

We wanted a fun, flexible, unique space to house our ceremony and reception and Brick House Studios totally fit the bill! We took advantage of the wired bow & truss beams to hang paper lanterns. We hung string light curtains over the white cyc, giving it a dreamy look where guests naturally gravitated for pictures. The space was affordable and there were no limits on food/drink vendors. Jonathan also showed us similar spaces at Avalon 60 and helped orchestrate prop rental from Avalon.Sent on 09/07/2018
Ok, so the neighborhood is in Chesterfield Square in South LA. It is what it is. We asked all our guests to please take Lyft/Uber and it all worked out just fine. I never felt that security was in anyway an issue. Because there aren’t really windows in the space, there isn’t the issue of ugly stuff in the background (something we kept running into when we were looking at loft spaces in DTLA), but we did love the way that the skylights lit up the space for the ceremony. We did photos ahead of time at the Expo Park Rose Garden.
Oh! We were super worried about whether or not we would have enough space for 120 people. I can't believe we stressed about it. We could have had twice that and it wouldn't feel crowded.
All in all, we’re really happy with our experience at Brick House. It’s a great pick for a truly unique wedding.
