The Make-up Artist did a great job!

My hair though fell flat about 20 minutes after I left the salon which was very stressful.

I would recommend Mirah for make-up she did a great job. I would not recommend hair.

Brassfields does not require employees to be vaccinated against covid 19. The unvaccinated spa employees wear cloth masks as they breathe and talk in your face. Cloth masks are not adequate protection against covid since the covid virus has small particle sizes that can easily penetrate cloth masks. The employees should be using KN95 masks, N95 masks and/or 3 ply surgical masks. Employees and management don't care if you become infected, die or pass the illness on to loved ones. It is their "personal choice". But business insurance doesn't cover them against covid transmission and their negligence. Very frightening on all levels. I used to be a loyal customer but will not be returning.

So here's the thing...first impressions are very important. After speaking with an unfriendly receptionist who booked and then re-booked me with a stylist a few times for a date weeks in advance I felt nervous on the phone. I became a little concerned about the level of professionalism which caused me to search the web for reviews and found that the same uninterested and unorganized experience I had was similar to others. I also had to look at my wedding budget and make a very difficult decision to not have my maid of honor's hair and make-up done here professionally. My sister is not happy :(. I found another salon a lot closer to my venue, friendlier, and much cheaper!! No cost for bridal consult ( hair or make-up). I am now saving A FEW HUNDRED dollars and feel much more relaxed:). Here's hoping Brassfields reads and responds to customer reviews. It would be a shame to lose more people when a few simple tweaks would gain some loyal customers!
