The Blue Rock Estate is a Texas Hill Country venue located thirty-five minutes west of downtown Austin, TX and just ten minutes west of Dripping Springs, TX. The Estate is nestled in the valley of a 20 acre property, surrounded by towering oak trees, butterfly gardens and a gorgeous rolling landscape.
Blue Rock’s architectural beauty is attributed to the well-known masonry artist Jesse Treviño who built the structure as his home and art studio in 1987. The hand-chiseled limestone walls and custom red-oak french doors are a standing testament to fine workmanship.
For the past 25 years Blue Rock was home to many artists and families, until May of 2013 when it caught the eye of wedding planners John and Crissalane Discher of Disch Events. John and Crissalane have transformed The Estate into the wedding and event venue they always dreamed of.
The charm of this estate comes from the alluring ability to transform and adapt while keeping the amiable feeling of a place you’ve always known. Be it chandeliers and cocktails, or boots and beers, The Blue Rock Estate has something unique for everyone who graces its fabulous French doors.
We cordially welcome you and yours to Blue Rock and we sincerely look forward to making your memories beautiful.

I honestly do not know where to start. After lots of research, we visited Blue Rock Estate to see if it would fit our wedding vision and budget. The venue knocked it out of the park. The ranch like feel, gorgeous trees, and rustic rock home were the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The venue was perfect but so was the venue coordinator: Collyn Cody. I cannot express our gratitude strongly enough. Collyn was amazing to work with. From the first moment that we met her, she felt like family and her calming spirit made planning a wedding feel easy, even if only while around her. She worked with us to design, plan, and coordinate our perfect day.Sent on 01/16/2017
The day of the wedding, Collyn provided an immeasurable amount of help to make our day perfect. From navigating the walk of two brides simultaneously walking down 2 different aisles on opposite sides of the venue, to flipping the venue from ceremony to reception flawlessly, to ensuring that our day of plan went off without a hitch, Collyn was simply amazing. Take a drive and head to Blue Rock Estate; I am so glad that we did. We will be forever grateful to this venue for making our day exactly what we envisioned.

The minute my now husband and I set foot onto this beautiful property, we knew we found our wedding venue! It's unique, secluded and beautiful with a perfect match of elegance and hill country charm. Our guests also continue to rave about the venue even now-- 2 months after our wedding!Sent on 04/25/2016
Collyn, the venue manager, was a delight to work with from the very beginning. She made the process of booking the venue and all the details that came after very easy. This venue is truly a gem!

Blue Rock Estate is BEAUTIFUL! We just had our wedding there, and it was absolutely gorgeous - the perfect mix of rustic and elegant in the heart of the Hill Country.Sent on 06/25/2014
The owners are incredibly kind! From the moment we walked onto the property, they were completely accommodating and allowed us to transform their already beautiful property however we wished. On the wedding day, they let my bridesmaids and I arrive early so we could eat lunch and relax. As far as the property goes, it couldn't have been more gorgeous. The pathway from the parking lot to the main building winds through a beautiful butterfly garden full of aromatic sage plants and festoon lighting. The main building itself is similar to a Spanish-style villa, that opens out to the lawn via several French doors, as well as a castle-like solid wood door at the back. The building's white stone exterior was a perfect backdrop for our lighting, and the grassy field was great for lawn games and photos. The stone pool even provided a nice water feature off of which our lighting was reflected. Our ceremony and dinner were held in the adjacent granite gravel space framed by a beautiful oak tree. The trees gave ample shade, and the air-conditioned interior was great for dancing and cooling off during our outdoor, June wedding. The bridal suite was bright and full of natural sunlight, and the groom's suite was classically decorated with a dark leather sofa and similar, masculine decor. Though our excellent caterer, Royal Fig, brought their own food trucks for cooking on-site, the fully-equipped kitchen was perfect for staging the appetizers and dinner. The property itself is very well marked and easy to get to. There was ample parking for our 90 guests and enough space for several mini-buses and rental trucks to drive through.
Overall, I couldn't have pictured a more beautiful wedding. If you're looking for the perfect blend of "rustic chic," then Blue Rock Estate is for you!
