Maka is a native Hawaiian born in the islands, raised on poi and island music. As an accomplished musician she has been performing professionally since 2008 across the state of Hawaii and beyond. With a love for people, performing, food and culture, entertaining is a natural extention of who Maka is. Maka currently performs regurlarly as lead musician for the Island Breeze luau in Kona twice a week. She is booked regurlarly for different celebrations at various resorts, private events, boat charters and has had the honor of opening up for the World Cup of Tennis in 2016. Known for her powerful voice, originality and unique playstyle, Maka blends the sounds of the islands with RnB, Blues, Pop, Soul and beyond. From instrumental, traditional Hawaiian, contemporary,top 40, Maka works to create a playlist that appropriately reflects the heart of each couple and is happy to perform requested songs.
