“I have had a love for hair for as long as I can remember. From proms, to college formals and small weddings, I had an uncanny ability for updos and event hair – even without formal training at the time. After graduating from Merrimack College 11 years ago, I decided to follow my true passion and dove head first into the beauty industry - it’s truly the best decision I’ve ever made!

I’ve done hair all over New England - from salons in Lexington, Cambridge and Ashland, MA to traveling Vermont, Maine and beyond for special event hair. I have worked photo shoots, taught classes and have been a part of countless weddings. When I’m not behind the chair, I love to cook, garden, watch sports and spend time with my family, especially my husband and two boys, Wyatt and Maverick.

The best part about being a stylist is that I have the power to make people look and feel their best. Nothing is better than seeing a gigantic smile on their face and a visible change in their confidence when they leave my chair. Wedding days are truly a joy to be a part of and I would love to be a part of yours!

Based in Lenox, MA, Lani has been a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist since 2012. A graduate of the Rob Roy Hair Academy, Lani puts her 10 years of experience into every client appointment. She is a lover of all things beauty and her soul’s passion is to make every client she works with fells like their most real, BEAUTIFUL selves. Making someone’s day a little extra special and stress free, and being able to cater to all their beauty needs brings her the utmost joy. She finds inspiration every where…. from photography, unique and beatiful textures and patterns in nature.

When she is not working with clients, Lani enjoys making unique and custom hair pins and pieces to adorn her client’s hairstyles and is a full time mom to an adorable little girl.

"I discovered my love of the beauty industry while attending classes at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 2007. Although I became certified as an esthetician, post graduation I was most drawn towards being a makeup artist because of the creativity it offered. I've always been fascinated by the use of color and how there's a real science behind it. You can use it to completely transform the look of anything, especially with makeup. After pursuing my career as a freelance makeup artist locally doing mostly bridal work, I decided to enroll in the Production Makeup Artistry program at the Cosmix Institute in Fort Lauderdale, FL (one of the only accredited MUA academies in the country). Working with many masters of the industry, I gained formal training in all fundamental makeup techniques: clean beauty, airbrushing, bridal, glamour, high fashion, and high definition television make up.

I believe in not only helping make women feel beautiful, but giving them the knowledge and know-how to make themselves feel beautiful as well. Sharing my experiences and techniques with my clients, both one on one and in a classroom setting, is one of my favorite parts of my job. Getting to see the confidence and sense of empowerment it instills, just from a bit of makeup is so genuinely rewarding. I am constantly striving to further my education on all things beauty because in the words of a former teacher, "You're only as good as the last lipstick you applied."

Veronica Nunes has been passionate about beauty ever since she could remember. Due to her very sensitive skin, she quickly understood the importance of using quality products. She dove into the world of beauty as a teenager, admiring the glossy pages of Allure, Elle and Vogue, paying close attention to anything and everything that had to do with makeup and skincare.

During her undergraduate years at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, she was the go-to makeup artist amongst her peers, providing her skills for formals, weddings or simply for her own practice. Veronica found that the communications and business skills acquired in her undergraduate studies would carry over when developing her own freelance makeup business.

Now in her eighth year, Veronica has provided services throughout the Northeast and beyond and has had work featured in Boston Magazine, Boston.com, The Hartford Courant, Ctnow.com, Hartford Magazine, the Tony Awards as well as numerous blogs and wedding sites. She continues to further her education by attending workshops and classes in MA and NYC, and most recently graduated from the 600-hour Advanced Esthetics program from Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. As a licensed esthetician, she knows that great makeup starts with great skin and carries only the best professional products to accomodate all skin types.

"Growing up with all boys made makeup pretty non-existent in my life. However, Art was always a part of my life. When makeup found its way into my life I saw it as an art form more than a way to cover up flaws. In high school I was head of the hair & makeup department for drama club and that is where I fell in love with the creative process. I loved how makeup could evoke an emotion and make people feel powerful. It was at that moment that I knew makeup was going to be what I would do for the rest of my life. After high school I immediately enrolled in the masters program for Esthetics at Empire Beauty School. Once in school I learned the more subtle makeup that I do today as well as the importance of skin care. After school I was lucky enough to continue learning about makeup and skincare from some of the greats in NYC, Boston and RI. In 2013 I joined the Powder Group where I continued taking courses for makeup and business. In 2016 after years of working with multiple brands of makeup and skincare, a friend and I opened up our own skin care line called Potion. We wanted to focus on truly natural recipes that were reliable and brought back a sort of old-world minimalistic approach to skin care. I believe incorporating good skin preparation into a makeup application is so important to the final look. My journey with skincare and makeup has allowed me to bring a unique approach to a career that may seem to be just be about glitz and glam. Makeup is a true art form and I am forever grateful to be able to create something beautiful with every client I meet."

It has always been so exciting to me. Watching her enhance her beauty was the highlight of my day. The power of makeup has inspired me to help others find their inner beauty and seeing a client's eyes light up when they see themselves in the mirror is why I became a makeup artist in the first place. With 8 years of experience, I have worked in all facets of the makeup industry including commercial, bridal, fashion, theater, beauty, and more! I strive to make a vision come to life!”

Ally grew up on the Cape, in the heart of a destination wedding scene and has been focusing on bridal and event styling for 10 years. A licensed hairstylist, Ally specializes in braids, waves, romantic and boho styles, she loves being able to add a unique touch to all her brides. She now resides in Middleboro, MA and loves being able to travel for work.
