Jessica from Alchemy salon did the most absolutely stunning updo for my wedding. She's been doing my hair for over a decade so when I got engaged I knew Jessica was the only one I wanted to use for my updo. She is so professional and fun to work with and I'm so blessed I had the privilege of having her do my wedding hair. All of the other staff at Alchemy is extremely talented and can amazing updos as well -- I've also gone to the salon for bridesmaids updos and for other events besides my wedding. This salon is one of the best in the DC area and I highly recommend!

Dan was amazing! I had previously gone with a well known makeup artist to do both my hair and makeup, but that person's hair was way too casual for a wedding. Dan knew immediately what I was looking for and I could tell right away the difference between an amateur and a professional. During my hair trial, he kept working with me until we achieved what I was looking for. Rather than simply saying "there will be more volume the day of the wedding", Dan actually created more volume so I could see what the final product would look like. Furthermore, Dan was willing to come in early the day of to help me get my hair done.

I am a longtime client of Alchemy Salon and I love how they do my hair regularly, so I knew that they would make it extra special for my wedding. Jessica came to my hotel to do everyone's hair. She did a fantastic job on all of our hair - especially mine. My hair is short, but she was able to pull the front back to make my hair look amazing! She added in some flowers in the back. It was exactly what I wanted, but I didn't know how to say it. She read my mind and did an amazing job! People were commenting on how great my hair looked all night. I HIGHLY recommend Jessica and everyone at Alchemy Salon!

Dan did my hair and makeup, as well as my mom's, and he was brilliant. Our up-dos and makeup lasted well into the after party, and we we received endless compliments.

I had a soft romantic look, no run-of-the-mill bun or prom hair for me! Dan also helped me arrange and create my "veil." It was a white fabric flower with a square of some bird cage netting that was placed behind my right ear.

My bridesmaids also had their hair and makeup done by other employees, and they were pleased as well. Everyone was flabbergasted by how amazing we looked, my aunt even broke into tears the moment she saw me.

I was extremely pleased with how everything went, and would highly recommend them to any bride, or for any special event.

My hair was beautiful and lasted all day. She was willing to come to me so I didn't have to travel!

The people at Alchemy were wonderful. Jessica did a wonderful job on my hair and on my Matron of Honor's hair. Taylor and Johnnie did the hair of other members of my family. They did a great job too.

The salon also allowed me to bring a make-up artist in and use a station to have my make-up done.

The salon itself is great and offers a wonderful atmosphere and great service for both wedding day hair and everyday.

Jessica at Alchemy Salon did a beautiful job with my hair! I got tons of compliments. She (and the lovely receptionist, whose name I unfortunately can't remember) also came in an hour before the salon normally opens to accommodate my early morning wedding. Jessica listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me exactly the effect I was looking for - mostly down, but with a regal look in the partial updo. It stayed perfect throughout the day while still having a soft, natural look. When I took it down that night, it easily brushed out and my scalp wasn't even sore. It was expensive, but comparable to most other salons in the area. Thanks for the wonderful work!
