Acronychous Mobile

Raised by rock-n-roll hippies in the foothills of Colorado, Rachael founded Acronychous to bring fresh nail art and design to her home state. She's been nail obsessed all her life and vividly remembers spending hours perfecting her two-tone polish jobs in fourth grade. When visiting a friend in Brooklyn in 2012, she got a nail art gel manicure for the first time and her brain exploded.

After having had her first amazing manicure, it was tough to go back to chipping gel polish and questionable sanitation practices. Rachael wanted to create a business that focused on excellent client relations, unique and original nail art, safe products and lasting results. A big supporter of continuing education, she invests heavily in learning new techniques, trying new equipment and teaching the ladies of Acronychous everything she discovers.

After working with clients for five years, Rachael has fallen into a few areas of expertise including natural nails and hard gel. Many of her clients have been with her for years now and have the long, healthy natural nails to show for it! Believing first in a solid foundation of technique and skill, each manicure is an adventure in chemistry, structure, refinement and finally, creativity.

The newest expansion of Acronychous has been Acronychous Mobile or, more fondly, The Nailer. Rachael and her man gutted, remodeled and rejuvenated a 1970's trailer to provide high end nail services for weddings, special events and concierge services.

Indigo began honing her critical eye early thanks to her dad who would consistently comment on chipped manicures and funky nails. After an appointment with Rachael in early 2018, her nail story began. After having both of her beautiful babies and finishing nail school, Indigo started working with clients at Acronychous.

A lover of bright, bold designs, Indigo would love nothing more than to cover your nails in neon flames, french tips with cherries or maybe a little chrome or glitter accents. Her art style has continued to grow and expand but really….make it bright, throw in some animal print, a little gold, some checkerboard and you’ll have a very happy nail tech! Indigo specializes in Gel X extensions, hard gel and natural nails.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Lane has always had a classic yet eclectic style. With an artist for a mother and fine art focused schooling throughout elementary, high school and college, Lane has always used making as a form of communication and connection.

She loves abstract, organic designs that speak to everyone differently and will never, ever say no to glitter. After years of experience managing top notch hair salons in Boulder, Lane missed being immersed in the creative side of things and began to pursue a career in cosmetology.

When she's not doing nails, you can probably find her crafting something, devouring true crime content, watching live music or snuggling with her kitty children.
