I really thought I did my homework on this guy and I didn't see any bad reviews. I saw pictures I thought were his work and he seem so nice, but the day was a disaster. There was no list of poses and family as promised. We all did a lot of waiting around for him to adjust camera and he even left the lens cap on, which thankfully one of my Bride Maids pointed out to him. People got a good laugh, but I was embarrassed and in disbelief. The final result was proof of the lack of skill he had at doing weddings when I received wedding photos. The photos were dark and poor excuse for "portraits". I didn't want anything fancy just simple wedding pictures of family and friends and all the everyday wedding shoots people get. I seemed to me that Doug had little to no REAL experience and it showed. I found out the hard way that hiring a Tried and True professional photographer is a MUST. I will never get that day back, but I hope all future Brides will learn from my mistake.
My maid of honor sent out a plea to all my guest and came up with a wonderful album for me, so not all was lost.
