Kayla and Fredy aren't your typical couple...
Believe it or not, they've known one another since Elementary School (think 1995). Both of their mothers, serving on PTA, meant lots of weekends coloring, playing in the yard and being kids...together. Fast forward to high school (2002), where they made it official and pronounced their love for one another when Kayla was a Freshman and Fredy a Senior. From high school, their relationship took them down the path to a beautiful life together. Road trips to Orlando, Nashville and everywhere in between for concerts and amusement parks were their favorite past time. One special road trip took them to Walt Disney World in April 2009 where Fredy asked Kayla for her hand in marriage. As she sat in Cinderella's Slipper Chair in the Royal Suite inside the iconic Cinderella's Royal Castle, Fredy dropped to one knee in traditional fashion. A true dream come true fit for a Princess, right in the Happiest Place on Earth! In 2009, nearly 14 years after they first met, Kayla and Fredy welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Kaydy, into their lives. Kaydy's name, a Greek name meaning "Pure" also reflects the everlasting love of Kayla and Fredy as a combination of their names (Kay+dy). | |
