Our Story
So, it all started in November of 2006. After several suggestions from Mrs. Castrejon, Ryan decided to "pursue" this bonita...... We started "talking" right before Thanksgiving. Ryan gathered just enough courage to leave me a message on MySpace. (I know...very romantic). We messaged back and forth for several days and Ryan invited me to a Laker game vs the Chicago Bulls. Little did I know I would meet a lot of people, including one of his best men, Jimmy. Our friendship grew as we continued to go out -as friends- but soon realized we had a special connection. We spent more and more time with eachother and discovered we had a lot in common. We also spent time with his friends and family who welcomed me from day one. On May 5, 2007 we became a couple...yes, on cinco de Mayo. Our Engagement! So it was a great Oct 8 2008 Day. We usually meet at the West Covina 24 Hr Fitness to workout. But as usual Arianna was running late, by the time she arrived it was about 7pm. Little did she know that Ryan's original plan was not going to work anymore so he had to improvise! Ryan ended up taking Arianna to an overlook with city lights up a hill in a new home community area. Once they got to the over look, he had Arianna get out of the car and sit on the hood of the car, ryan presented her with a special scrap book he made, each page was personally made by him and by both parents, siblings, and a "friends" page ( all with messages), at the end was the blue velvet bag with her ring! He actually didn't know where he was going but he tied into his "speech" saying "we may not know where our lives may go but with God's guidance and help will you marry me!?" SHE SAID SI SI! =) |
