Danielle and David first met back in high school, but it wasn't until college when the two became close. On December 28th, 2006 Danielle and David officially became a couple. Since then, they were inseperable. The two enjoyed doing everything together: going on weekend get-aways, to New York City and Atlanic City. Creating new memories like trips to the beach, site seeing, cooking, trying new resturants, and of course going to the movies. After five years of dating, Danielle was offered a job position in Milwaukee as the Program Associate for BBYO, Wisconsin Region. David was faced with a decision, does he move to Milwaukee? Try a long distance relationship? He knew Danielle was the girl he wanted to be with for the rest of his life, so when he asked his grandmother for advice she told him not to let Danielle get away! David is the only boy on his mother's side of the family, so Grandma offered her mother's diamond to use to propose to Danielle with. David took the diamond from his grandma and told Danielle he would move to Milwaukee to be with his true love. The two packed their cars, said their goodbyes and drove across the country to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in September 2012. One week after David agreed to join Danielle in Milwaukee he found himself in a full time job as the new Digital Media and Marketing Specialist for Milwaukee Jewish Day School. David's friend, Scott, was getting married in Israel. David thought it would be a great place to take Danielle to propose. Before they left for the trip, David called Danielle's parents to ask them for their permission to marry their daughter, they gladly accepted. He bought two tickets and they flew across the world for a wedding they would never forget. Once the wedding was over Danielle and David went to visit some family in Ceaserea, which is located near the Roman ruins in Israel. It was there where David took Danielle to a restaurant called Helena. The restaurant overlooked the Meditteranean Sea. David had reserved a table right next to the water overlooking the sunset. The two shared lots of laughs, good food, wine and then tears when David got down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant and asked Danielle to be his bride. He proposed with his great grandmother's diamond earring. He told Danielle that she could choose any setting she wished. Once they returned to Milwaukee they went together to pick out the perfect setting. Both Danielle and David are living comfortably in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. They are busy working, and anticipating their special day on November 25th, 2012. |
