Our Story
Believe it or not, the first time we met, James was being pushed in a shopping cart down the hallway of his Boston University dormitory, Warren Towers, by mutual friend and now groomsman, Vik Kaushik. That night, we hung out with friends and definitely hit it off. James headed back to Maine the next day to spend the summer at home, while I stayed in Boston. It wasn't until a whole year later that we saw each other again, when James moved into an apartment with Vik to spend the summer working in Boston. We spent that summer getting to know each other, and the rest is history. After six months together, we learned I was pregnant, and nine months later, Emmett was born. We may not be doing everything in the most conventional way, but we couldn't be happier with the way our lives have turned out so far and can't wait to spend our futures together. |
