How We Met
Chad and I met in an earth science lab back in November of 2005. I sat behind him the entire semester but we didn’t actually meet until the lab review session. Someone had taken my seat so I had to sit somewhere else. Chad was running late to class and the seat next to me was the only one of two seats left open. Chad asked me questions that he already knew the answers to during the session so that he could have an excuse to talk to me. When it was over we walked out together and went our seperate ways. About a week later I got an e-mail from Chad (who had somehow found my e-mail address without even knowing my last name?!?!) saying that he couldn’t stop thinking about me and was afraid he would not run into me again because it was such a big campus. We talked through AIM for the next couple of months and finally met for lunch one day in January. He invited me over the next night to play board games. We sat up until 7 in the morning talking! We were inseperable after that and just four days later he told me he was in love with me! We have happily been together ever since:)

Our Engagement
Chad and I went on a cruise to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands on May 12,2007. We flew down to Flordia on Thursday and boarded the ship on Friday. The first night after dinner Chad and I decided to go up on deck and walk around. He took me up to the very top deck on the front of the ship, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him! I cried and said yes! It was so perfect and so romantic. I could not have dreamed of a better way to have been proposed to. The best part was that we had the entire cruise left to be newly engaged in the beautiful caribbean! It was so exciting!
