I have pulled these from all over the web, so if you see a picture here that is yours, please let me know and I will give credit where credit is due!

Paper Inspiration:

I love, love, love the Polaroid style pictures. I think they are fun and unique and so I really want to use them for our paper items. My favorite part is the escort cards, which will be old photos of the guests themselves, and then their name and table name will be below the picture. Thankfully I already have pics for everyone on my side and most of his, now I just need to get some more pictures from FMIL! And then for the background for everything will be this cool pattern that my mom in her scrapbooking software that is kinda urban meets traditional. It's really cool, hopefully she'll send me a sample soon. And then to hold the escort cards at the table, I want to use these LOVE photo holders. The LOVE statue is here in Philly, so I thought it would be a nice way to bring a little Philly to MN. **Edit** So I managed to find one of the LOVE photo holders, and they are super tiny and not as nice as they look in the picture. Much sadness. Time to try and find different ones.

So I found these favors/escort card holders that I love love love (picture on the left), but they are more than I was wanting to spend. So instead, I'm going to make something comparable out of wooden blocks, that will be painted silver, and I orded a LOVE Park stamp from an Etsy seller that I will use to stamp the blocks in either purple and/or green ink. They will look similar to the picture on the right, but the blocks will be a little bigger. I also will probably put our names and wedding date on the bottom since they are favors and all. :)

So I love the idea of having cupcake wrappers, but couldn't justify spending all that money on them (they are quite pricey!). So I found a DIY one using paper doilies! There are also ones that are made out of pretty paper and use scissors with designs to make the top look nice, or neat paper punches to add a design to the top.The first image on the left is one of the pricy ones you can buy online, the one in the middle is the DIY doily one, and the one on the right is also of DIY ones - how cool are they? :)

 Card Box Inspiration:

So if you look at my "items purchased" page, you'll see that I got a storage box that I was thinking about using for the card box, but wasn't sure how to decorate it other than to add letters spelling out "cards" somwhere. Well I found the pic above on the left, and really like how they decorated the box, so I'm going to do something similar, but use the pic on the right as inspiration for how to add the word "cards" to the box.

Centerpiece Inspiration:

I'm not sure when I fell in love with the idea of doing branch centerpieces, but it's kinda become the "theme" of the decor for the wedding. The pic to the left is the size and shape I will base mine off of, and the pic in the middle is more along the lines of the colors I'm going for. The pic on the right is how I imagine it will look with the votives all lit up! :)

Ceremony trees inspiration:

I haven't found a picture of exactly what's in my head, but these two are the closest I've found. I'll probably add some pomanders or something to tie into the aisle decorations.

Aisle runner/pomander inspiration:

I really love the look of flower petals, however our venue does not allow real ones, and who wants to clean up fake ones? So I plan on gluing silk petals to a sheer fabric that will then be attached to each side of the runner, to give it a more organic look.  Updated: I am probably going to try and do something similar to the picture on the right except with purple petals.

I love the draping  in the picutre above, so we'll be doing that, but instead of the pomanders  I'm going to attempt to make larger versions of those fabric flowers and use them on the benches along the aisle

Attire inspiration:

I LOVE the hair flower pictured, but I want to try making my own, as I don't want to pay $$ for something I could make myself. I'm going to use the fabric from my dress after the train is removed, so that the flower will match the dress. I'd like to add purple crystals to the center and maybe along the outside to make it a little more me. :)

I also LOVE the purple petticoat under the dress idea! I know I stole it from someone ahwile ago, but I am very excited about it! I will also have purple shoes (which I already have! See Attire).
