Nicole & Michael had an interesting and exciting start to their relationship. We met each other in July 2006 and had our 1st date at Cheddar’s. We both were very nervous but hit it off really well. We talked about our families, friends, jobs and hobbies and got to know each other better.

Over the next few months and years, we became closer as each day passed. We had a lot in common including our love of sports and traveling. He was a sports enthusiast and high school football coach at the time and was able to get Nicole to come watch the games. She would even watch games with him because it was something he was interested in! She was also a sports fan and liked baseball and was able to get him interested in the game! Over the years, we have gone to see the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks & FC Dallas Soccer games together, and he has been to some Dallas Stars' games.

We took our 1st vacation together by bringing in the New Year of 2008 in San Diego, CA  and had a great time and also visited Las Vegas, NV in the summer and had lots of fun in the sun! We have been able to experience a lot of new things together and fall deeper in love everyday.

In August 2008, Michael surpised Nicole by taking her to the Melting Pot for dinner. Michael made Nicole wear a blindfold on the way to the restaurant so that she would not know where they were going. She had always wanted to go to the Melting Pot (he is a very good listener at times!) Dinner was great as we cooked our own food and had a great time. Michael told Nicole he had a surprise for her when they got back to his place but he would not tell her what it was. As we got into the car, Nicole realized Michael had left his umbrella in the restaurant but before he left to go back inside to get it, he handed Nicole a small box with a bow. Nicole opens the box and guess what it was!!  THE RING!  (he did a GREAT job in picking out the ring on his own!!!) When he got back in the car, Michael asked Nicole to be his wife and she said YES!!!!!   

And now here we are, planning our wedding and ready to spend the rest of our lives together and we want you to share in our happiness.
