There are two main areas where you can stay in Santa Fe.  The first is on & around the Santa Fe Plaza.  Since this area is the heart of the action in Santa Fe, it is naturally more expensive.  The second area to stay is on Cerrillos Road.  Cerrillos is a long road that goes through most of Santa Fe and most of the accommodations here will be about five miles away from the main plaza.  Parking near the plaza is tricky, but there are several lots where you can pay to park.

For your convenience, we have reserved special rates for our wedding weekend at two different places, one on the plaza & one on Cerrillos Road.

Old Santa Fe Inn (3 blocks from the plaza & 0.7 miles to wedding)

Old Santa Fe Inn
To make reservations in the block, please call (800) 745-9910.
320 Galisteo Street
Santa Fe, NM  87501
http://www.oldsantafeinn.com/

Special Prices- $149/night + tax for a traditional room with 1 queen bed.  Rooms with Kiva fireplaces are $169/night + tax and there are suites available for $189-$219/night.
To reserve, please call the hotel (at 800-745-9910) & refer to the Barnes/Belknap wedding before April 3 or the rates above may not be available.  Please note that you will need to make a one night deposit when you make the reservation, but can cancel up to 7 days before arrival.

This is a very nice inn that caters mostly to couples.  As such, they only have a limited number of rooms with more than one bed, so call early if you need a room with multiple beds.  Also, the rooms in the block will be released back to the hotel on April 3rd, so we highly recommend to book early if you wish to stay here.

Courtyard Marriott Santa Fe (Cerrillos Road- ~ 5 miles to plaza & wedding)

Courtyard Marriott Santa Fe - (505) 473-2800

Other Accommodations:
There are a lot of lodging options in Santa Fe.  At all price points and quality levels.  From expensive luxury locations to awfully dirty dives- Santa Fe can accommodate so we suggest using tripadvisor (www.tripadvisor.com) to research reviews prior to booking on-line.  You may also find better deals as the date approaches, but if you are interested in the Old Santa Fe Inn rooms you should book early as the rate is currently lower than the rates on the web and are likely to go up.

La Posada:
Due to the high room rates at our wedding location (La Posada de Santa Fe Hotel & Spa), we have chosen not to reserve a room block there - but you are welcome to reserve a room there on your own if you would like to stay at the actual wedding venue.  Rooms can be ~ $300/night + but you may be able to find a better deal as the date approaches as well.

There are also two reasonably economical motel-type options near the plaza, but we haven’t been to either of them so we can’t recommend them one way or the other.  Those are Sage Inn & Garrett’s Desert Inn.  You can usually find rooms at either of those options for around $100/night + tax.   While they are "close" to the plaza, it may be a bit of a walk.
