"God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you"

Meet the beautiful ladies I am lucky to call my Bridesmaids:

Nastassia Regina Appleyard - Maid of Honor

Sister of the Bride

I met this stunner 23 years ago, when I graced her life with my presence! Like any other sisters, we've had our cat fights, claws out, tattle-taling moments, but as the years went on, and we semi-matured (not really at all) we really came to appreciate having each other as sisters. Stazzie is my best friend in the world, and still to this day, she fascinates me with her amazing voice, her beauty and her ability to steal the show and win any crowd over. I love her with all my heart, and am so happy that she will be standing to my left when I get married. I love you Schnazzles! More than you will ever know :)

Genevieve Appleyard Bradford - Matron of Honor

Sister of the Bride

Many who meet Gen & I notice that we are, in a way, each other's twin - same mannerisms, same smile, same laugh, same awesomeness :) While I do not get to see her as often as I would like to, it is an awesome feeling to know that if I ever needed her, she would be available in a heart beat. She is an amazing mother to two of the most beautiful children I've ever seen in my life, a FANTASTIC chef, extremely smart and very caring. I love you Gen, and I can't wait for you to be here with me :) The Appleyard Sisters finally reunite!

Kristyn Alexia BurrowsBridesmaid

Sister of the Groom

I met Kristyn at 12AM on her 15th birthday, as I was Skyping with Brandon. Even through a computer screen, I could tell that she was someone I would definitely get along with. However, when I met her in person the following weekend, it wasn't that we just "got along", it was that she was honestly one of the coolest girls I'd ever met, and I now consider her one of my closest friends. The greatest part, is that I get to call her my little sister; I could not have asked for a better one. This girl is hilarious beyond words, a kick-butt baker, and is just so completely positive and happy, 24/7. Kristyn, I am so happy that you are my new sister (forget the "in-law" part!), because you are Amazing. I love you doll!

Elizabeth Denise Garcia- Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

My Poodleina, where would I even begin? I met Beth whilst sipping on 'Gully Wash' in the oceans of Grand Bahama. We finally hung out together one night while she was living in Nassau, and since then we became inseperable. At times it was more like an awesome marriage than a friendship: we had to speak every day, spent our weekends together, and told each other everything. The day Beth moved back to Freeport broke my heart, yet, thankfully, our friendship has not changed. Beth is the most amazing friend, who will always be there for you no matter what. She is an amazaing mama to her 3 baby Jack Russells, and honestly has a heart of gold. I cannot imagine my life without you Beth, and can't wait to celebrate my day with you :) I love you so much.

Carolyn Wallace Hodgson - Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

Even though this comment will swell Carolyn's head SO MUCH, it has to be said: If it weren't for her, I would not be marrying the man of my dreams :) I will forever owe her for suggesting that I meet her out that Friday night :) Thank you for listening to me obsess over him, constantly, and for always being so understanding and patient as I would sit on the phone and skype with him for hours while you were trying to sleep :) Yes, I said sleep. Carolyn and I got to be roommates for a month, and it is still one of my greatest memories in life :) She came to the Bahamas for the summer to intern in 2011. Mid-summer, she decided to bring her 10 suitcases and move into my room. Normally I would be like "whoah, this is my personal space, get out" but for her, I didn't mind. The happy hour nights and adventures were quite phenomenal, and I cannot wait to continue the debauchery once you return for the wedding :) Thank you for being so awesome, 24/7. I love you Caro :)

Tatum Pia Williams - Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

My Tater Tot.. I met Tatum in 1999 when we went to Lyford Cay School together. From there we went to boarding school and as years went by, we became closer and closer. Tatum is a fantastic and talented soon-to-be fashion designer, with a style that is envied by most. She has done amazing internships in several states, yet no matter where she is, she has always been there for me when I've needed her most. Always the click of a mouse or a phone call away. She is the most trustworthy and honest friend, and I'm so happy to have found a friendship that I know will last a life time. I can't wait to have you standing beside me Tater, I love you!

Abigail Zara Asgaralli - Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

SHABIGAIL,where shall I start.. I met Abby in 2010 as I was attempting to runaway from Nassau to Miami.. which only lasted a week that particular time. Different and long story. Anyways, our love story began at a sushi restaurant in Miami, and has been blossoming ever since. She's basically my girlfriend in that I expect her to check in with me daily and I get jealous if she calls my brother before calling me (she happens to be his girlfriend as well). On a serious note, this is a girl that I can call at in the middle of the night, or wee hours of the morning, and she will sit-up and listen to what I have to say, no matter what it is about. This is a girl that everyone would want to have as a friend. She's caring, she's loving, she's generous, she will literally do whatever she can to make others happy. Abigail, I love you to the end of the world, and thank you for always putting up with me :) You're an amazing person.

Araxie Avron - Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

Luckily for me, Wildflowers decided to hire some Swiss/French/Armenian intern chick for the winter portion of the year. Who knew that this chick would end up being one of my best friends in the world. HARAXIE, the girl who probably cares more about the actual and proper planning of this wedding than the bride. With an accent that you can barely understand, this girl quickly stole my heart. She's hilarious, smart, dedicated to her work, extremely caring, stylish and did I mention hilarious? She is such a great friend to me, always making sure that I am okay, and that I'm happy. Every day for 5 months we would sing Celine Dion songs to each other, and I can't wait till she moves back so that we can continue :) Araxie, thank you for always putting up with me and for being such the greatest friend :) IIIIIII, LOOOOOVE, YOUUUUUUU,  Please say you LOOOOVE, MEEEEE, TOOOOOO!

 Karla Rochelle Wells - Bridesmaid

 Friend of the Bride

When KWells and I first met.. it's pretty safe to say that we did not see each other as being "best buds". Then one of life's greatest lessons came into play: "Never judge a book by it's cover". After a few more conversations, Karla and I grew closer and closer, to the point where if she goes away without telling me, we are going to fight! :P On a serious note, I'm very lucky to have this girl in my life; she always given great advice, always accepted me for who I am and the silly things I say, and always someone I have a great time with, no matter what we are doing. This girl is TOO smart, extremely dedicated to anything and everything she deals with, and she's a phenomenal cook ;) I love you KWells and I'm so happy to have you as a bridesmaid :)

Alexandra Giffin - Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

When it comes to Ali, what can I say besides.. our love was, comfortable and, so broken in :) I can't even BEGIN to describe the 930249384 amazing times I've had with this great lady - even though we had our own separate rooms at boarding school in Canada, I found myself sleeping in hers every night of our last year. This is a girl that I can sit in a room with in complete silence, and burst out laughing for no reason. She makes me smile no matter what is going on... being with Ali, there is never a dull moment. I couldn't imagine not having you standing there with me on my wedding day, and I can't wait to grow old and still wreak havoc with you :) I love you Ali!

Natalie de Fatima Pena  - Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride

From Ridley in Canada, to Freeport in the Bahamas, to 345 Michigan Avenue in South Beach, Miami, Natalie and I have taken our adventures to several places in the world :) It all started with a Spring Break that I will never forget - I was living in Miami and Natalie was on break from boarding school. Basically, I really needed a friend, and Natalie was there. I'll never forget how our friendship began, and how amazing it got as time went by. Natalie is such a wise, smart, absolutely stunning human being, and I am so lucky to have her in my life. She literally brightens every room she is in, and the girl is HILARIOUS! Ati, I can't wait to see you standing there beside me, and I love you dearly :)

Renate Cian Munroe - Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride

Before I  learnt about boys and weddings, I met Renate at Lyford Cay School. 20 years later, and I'm still lucky enough to have her as one of my closest's friends. Most of my craziest and greatest adventures have Renate in them. I love that I have a friend that you can have so much fun with, yet if there are times when you want to sit around, go for a drive, do absolutely nothing, you are able to call on that person and they'll be there. I can always be myself around Renate, without having to worry about being judged, and she laughs at my lame jokes which is pretty cool :) Renate is the girl I have been friends with the longest in life.. Here's to another crazy night to add to the books Etaner :P I love you!
