Over all our ceremony and reception at Brook Lodge was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. The value was great. We booked a wedding package and it was nice to have everything all in one. Mandy was wonderful and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She made the day go extremely smooth. They were very flexible with changes and requests. the grounds were beautiful. There were a few small issues that we had. The food served at the reception (salad, appetizer, and main course) was not like we had tried during our tasting of the menu. I was a little embarrassed that the meats were overcooked, dry, and kinda bland. The sauces and options were had chosen had been changed somewhat and left something to be desired. However, the hor d'oeuvres were very good and the guests loved them. Our wedding cake was butchered when it was cut for guests. Left over cake was messy and poorly cut. I had a crystal cake topper that was thrown in a box and broken. I was very sad since my mother had purchased it for me. Finally our bill was extremely unorganized and confusing. We are still not sure what we really were charged for. The cost came out less than expected so we didn't say anything but for all we know we got charged for stuff we shouldn't have and it looks as if we got charged tax on top of tax.

This bakery is amazing. We have always ordered cakes from Continental for family events and my husband loves their chocolate cakes (which seem to magically appear often in our kitchen) so we decided to order our wedding cake here. They did a beautiful job, better than I ever imagined. The flavor was great, the cake was moist and the frosting is oh so yummy. We first wanted to go with the fondant look but they talked us out of it because of the taste. They told us we would be happier with their regular frosting but gave us a sample of the fondant to try for ourselves. They were absolutely right. They made the cake look sooo smooth and better than the fondant cakes I have seen. It tasted so much better than the fondant would have tasted, too. I am so glad that they shared their experience with us and got us the perfect cake. Their pricing was perfect. We had a very large cake for the price that some of the fancy vendors charge for one small layer.

Great service and very affordable. We didn't want the silliness and craziness that we saw in some of the DJs we met so we went with All Occasion DJ Service. Very polite and professional. Listened to our needs and wants. Met with us before the wedding to discuss music and was extremely flexible with changes that we called in before the wedding. Found all the songs we wanted and made all of the announcements perfectly. He showed up early and stayed until everyone was done. My family was very pleased with him and we have recommended him to everyone we know.

We wanted pocket fold invitations but ran into a cost issue. I searched and searched and came across MyGatsby and found that I could get the invitations we wanted at a reasonable price. We choose to assemble the invites ourselves to save money. I got the colors I wanted and the invites turned out beautifully. Only problem we ran into is that we had a stamp that we wanted to use on the metallic pockets and the ink did not dry due to the texture of the pockets. They turned out wonderful though and all of our guests loved them.

Rev Burns was amazing! She provided us with one of the most stress free aspects of our wedding. Communication was great and everything went smoothly. Carleen showed up early to both our rehearsal and wedding. She tailored the ceremony to our personalities. We received many positive comments from our guests. We would definitely recommend her to anyone!
