This photographer has experience and the pictures were good...not great. Her personality we great and easy to work with...she helped with ideas on greating ready and tricks for the girls.
For the money being spent there should have been more originality to the photos. I did not like how she took so many pictures of everyone else at the reception. Dont' get me wrong it is nice to have the memories of who was at the wedding but I did not spend the money to get pictures of everyone else. She should have been more focused on the bride and groom.
She did not call and give me updates when we got closer to the wedding like she said she would. I had to call her to make sure she had everything she needed. That is the last thing a bride planning a wedding should have to do.
It took about 9 weeks just to receive my proofs (should have been 5-6 weeks) and I am still waiting on cards to put in my thank yous. It has been over 3 months and I still haven’t sent my thank yous out due to waiting on these inserts.

Although I am glad that MB liked my work in general, I was concerned about these issues. So I checked. MB received 663 photos. 86 of these were taken out side at locations encouraged by me. It was cold and windy that day & I am glad I talked them in to doing some fun stuff out side anyway. At every reception I will try to take one shot of each couple or family there. Invite 200 people look for around 100 shots of just guests. Out of a total 233 reception shots 93 or 40% were involving the bride and or groom or both. the balance was guests, food, cake & decor. Normally the cards are ordered months in advance but because this couple lived in a different state and would not be coming home before the wedding I allowed them to choose a photo from the wedding for there cards. Once I received the selection the card was designed and sent to the printer. They are on the way. I never tell my customers that I will update them. I don't know what I am updating them on. I do tell them that if I do not hear from them before, I must hear from them one week before the wedding to go over everything. I normally have 3 to 4 contacts with my couples. Booking, at the engagement session, when the bride calls about hair apt schedule and the week of the wedding call. Since I am not the ones making the plans for the wedding I am the one that needs updating on what is going on. Normally it takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get your photos online and back from the lab and in the albums. 6 to 8 weeks near the end of the year around the holidays. Her wedding was at the busiest time of the year but I made sure she received her albums on Christmas day paying extra delivery at my own expense to make sure that she got to share them with family.
