We are SO happy we had our wedding reception at Rockefeller Hall!! We were debating between a couple of different options, and went with Rockefeller because they took care of so many things in-house. I knew things would get hectic as the wedding approached, and did it ever! I was so relieved to know that things at the reception hall were being handled professionally, but also with style & grace. I didn't have to worry a bit! During the reception, they even made an effort to seek out both families and make sure they had food & drink. I found that out later, and was so thankful to hear someone was thoughtful enough to look after our moms!! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, too!! It's the best of all worlds. In retrospect, I can't even imagine having our reception anywhere else. They were fantastic.
Adam was amazing! He did our engagement, bridal, and wedding photography. We are thrilled with everything, and have received so many compliments on our photographs. He had a real-time slide show during the reception where guests could see photos of the wedding as well as just-taken photos from the reception. I had several people tell me they'd never seen a better photographer. His packages are put together really well, too, so there are no surprises. You know exactly what you are getting from day 1, and there are no "hidden costs" that you so often have to watch out for. Plus, he's a great guy and really fun to work with as well.
I loved working with Claudia!! She was fun, easy to talk to, and extremely creative. I had an idea of what kind of a cake I wanted, and she was able to create it and even helped me customize it further! I love the way it turned out, and so many people ooh-ed and ahhh-ed over it at the reception. Not to mention the fact that it was actually delicious! Who ever heard of a delicious wedding cake? (I usually don't like them) However, hers was fantastic & I would go with her all over again if I had the choice.
Great DJ for our reception! Bryan kept things moving & there were constantly people on the dance floor -- exactly what we were hoping for, even though we had a day wedding.... and sometimes those are hard to get people dancing! They have a website where you can customize your "play" and "do not play" lists, as well as designate your special dances. We loved them and would definitely recommend their services.
Loved loved loved our invitations! Ann was so sweet, wonderful, and professional. She knew exactly what I needed, and helped so much with everything! She was able to tell me exactly how much postage each envelope would need (the post office guessed wrong when they "eyeballed" it. when they measured and weighed everything, turns out ann was right!). She also knew all the proper etiquette for how to address my envelopes, and helped me maneuver several tricky situations. I was so appreciative for her help on so many levels, and bottom line, when it came down to it -- I just loved how pretty the invitations turned out!!! I would go back to her in a heartbeat!
