Getting a hold of the "wedding coordinators" can be very frustrating, at the same time it may take a while for them to give you a call back. Wedding coordinator not exactly flexible or enthusiastic. Food is delicious, set up of food is beautiful and the waiters/waitresses were very attentive. If food is what is most important to you, then this is the place, you will not regret this unique delcious menu! The bathroom is a public bathroom, toilet paper was consistenly lacking, there were dirty diapers on the bathroom floors, could have been much cleaner and well kempt. Outdoor grounds are beautiful, as the Pond House is located at a Rose Garden.

wonderful photographer, has great patience and love for children in the wedding party. she loves what she does and literally gets on the ground to get the perfect shot. Carrie really was more like a coordinator for us that day. She even explained to us how to cut the wedding cake and what to do with the utensils ( not that it's hard, but you want to look good doing it!). After she told us that she was going to go home, she ended up staying for a few more hours.
Carey is absolutely amazing at her work with floral bouquets and decor, a true artist. She is enthusiastic, ambitious, really listens to your ideas and she adds even better ones and she is very flexible. She does what you ask her too! My bridal bouquet was what I imagined only so much better. It was Carey's flowers that brought tears to my eyes that day. You won't regretting choosing Carey as your florist, I promise!
The most important factor for my husband and I was the flavor of the cake and boy, does Donna have some wonderful flavors to offer. We chose the Orange Grand Marnier cake with strawberry filling, it tasted like a creamsicle! And we had to have the fondant, it was delicious, it tasted like a marshmallow. Not only did the cake taste nyummy but the design was just perfect as well. We had a beautiful 3 layer cake, in a celadon color with white scroll design and beautiful cream colored roses which were spread down one side of the cake. Absolutely fabulous! One very small inconvenience is that if you want, you may rent a cake stand from Donna but someone(you, your family or friends) will have to return it within 3 days after the wedding. Donna does not come back to the site to pick up the cake stand, but really no biggy!

Mariella Creations has a vast selection of wedding dresses. The owner, Mariella, is a doll and was so patient with me when I was trying on different gowns. She really has a great taste and suggests beautiful dresses and veils to match. The best seamstress is Margaret! She is a total sweetheart, and also so patient; as you can imagine how stressful the bride and family can be:-) She really takes her time with your fitting and truly listens to what you want.
Joan is a radio host on Connecticut's radio station lite 100.5, so she really know how to talk with a calm and soothing voice. She is certainly not one of those loud obnoxious get in your face DJs. Although she works for a lite radio station she certainly know her R&B, hip hop and rap; as that was the music that both my husband and I listen to. Joan did not fail us and played great music all night long.

Kathy Schiano, who is the owner of Millenium Music, is so passionate about her music. She met with us at Panera Bread where we discussed our ceremony and the type of music we wanted. We chose to have a trio, consisting of a celloist, floutist and violist. Kathy plays the cello. After we spoke about the ceremony, Kathy was quiet ambitious and suggested to take us to the actual ceremony site, the Rose Garden in Elizabeth Park. Kathy wanted to be sure where she should be seated in the park and where the bridal path would be. We gave a list of songs for the ceremony and Millenium Music played them beautifully. They were even flexible when we asked them to move to a different section of the gazebo as there were muddy puddles everywhere. You will certainly get beautiful, romantic and keyed music.
Beautiful invitations and very unique. The ladies over the phone are so nice and helpful and are ready to send as many samples as you may need, at no extra cost! They help you to find the exact colors you want when you don't see that one you want on their website.
Pat Heizman was truly a blessing to us. Pat marries couples of all denominations. She can mention God in your ceremony if you want or not. She is so pleasant and welcoming. We went to her house, where she basically asked us questions on how we met to how we would describe each other. This interaction really led to a most perfect ceremony. She emailed the majority of the ceremony to us beforehand just so that we could approve it and make any corrections. She can be as traditional as you want or as untraditional, you name it! She also had wonderful ideas for including the guests who are viewing the ceremony. Our ceremony was so perfect, emotional, funny, romantic and beautiful all in one, because of the words she had spoken to us that day.

Maria is a star with her makeup application. My makeup trial proved that and I was just exhilarated at the final product on my wedding day. She used airbrushing on my face(although she explained to me that airbrushing is not for everyone) and my face was flawless all day long and my skin looked as smooth as porcelain. She even went out and spent time finding the perfect lipstick to match the color we created at the makeup trial. She is so helpful and really wants to make you happy. I wanted a more modern look, rather than the traditional beige and pink eyeshadow and Maria nailed it! I glowed all day long!
