I absoultely loved working with the people at Ashton Garden's from the day I walked onto the site it was perfect services by the staff. Lindsey the lady that showed me around was very professional and went over what everything would cost for the date that my husband and I had picked. The wedding corrdinator set everything up for us on the day of the wedding (for the reception as that was all I had at this location, although the chapel is beautiful). Our pictures what we wanted on the tables where the gifts were going to be where our wedding book was going to be, in other words all we had to do was show up on the day of the wedding. We didn't necessarily like everything on our menu option, but they changed it for us with no problem taking off what we didn't want and adding what we did. It all made for a very eligant wedding reception.

I have had nothing but problems with Edward Fox. They were having some problems in the Houston market, and switched people multiple times I am on my third contact with the company and was not contacted once to be made aware of the change. I only found out by trying to contact the company or the person I was in contact with. Our engagement and my bridal session went well and we liked those pictures. I was so excited to find out that my wedding pictures were posted online, once I got home and started looking at them I was in tears, all of my ceremony pictures have an orange background and the brick in the church I had the ceremony is a light brown color. We believe is was a combination of the sky lights over the alter and a flash. My recepiton pictures turned out better but I was still disapointed in some of them. The bridal party entrance they only got one picture of each couple and they are all at different distances from the camera, the same with them coming down the isle. My parents spent a lot of money on what I feel are bad and ok pictures out of 800 something pictures we loved 4 of them.

Lara was great about my flowers, at our metting I brought in a picture of what I had seen in a magazine and she did a fairly good job of getting me those flowers. The only thing I was shocked about was the pink in my flowers which should have been green, now I'm not the biggest fan of pink but in this case it worked out pretty well, didn't really work for the fall theme but they were beautiful none the less and I would not have gone with any other florist. The work was well worth the money spent.

All I have to say about my cakes is oh my goodness. They looked beautiful and tasted great. I found Gina's in a magazine I saw the cake and had to have it. The cake tasted great at the cake tasting and she did a wonderful job getting the grooms cake taken care of. She made it off of a computer drawing that my husband sent her and it turned out just great.

The first time I went in it was with my now husband and mother. They helped me to find 3 dresses I wanted my bridesmaids to try on and wrote them down to pull forward the day that they were going to come and try on the dresses. I was able to get my girls dresses for a reasonable price and they are just basic chocolate brown. They were made very well and only the normal alterations had to be made. Length and in at the bust some (you know how those dresses almost never fit perfectly when they come in).

I loved my dress, you know that feeling you get when you find the perfect dress, well I got it and thank goodness the dress was in my size. I bought a discontinued dress and it was the last one like it in the store. My services wasn't that great. I had made an appointment and the lady that was supposed to be helping me helped the girl that walked in after my appointment time a LOT more. My family had to help carry the dresses back and fourth because she wasn't doing it. The only thing she helped me with was my veil. We were so disapointed in our service that when we checked out we didn't give her name, don't feel to sorry for her she didn't carry any dresses to my dressing room or do any other work for me. The alterations were done very well and they had to take a lot of legth off of my dress as I am short and wore flats for my wedding. I think it ended up being about 10 inches off the bottom of my dress. They had to relay the whole back of my dress and it didn't look like any alterations had been done to the dress so it turned out perfectly. It didn't even take the whole time they estimated to get my veil in (it had to be ordered in), so that was really nice.
