Cory and Mike of the Rosebrook Inn are PHENOMENAL. I don't even know where to start. First of all, the Rosebrook Inn is absolutely beautiful and warm and comforting. They inside is beautifully decorated and the outside gardens are just gorgeous. It's nestled at the base of the blue ridge mountains. They also have a very large partially enclosed patio that is great for receptions and dancing, and a gazebo in the garden area for ceremonies. The details in the decoration are so interesting, that you can stroll inside and out and find so may interesting details to enjoy. Secondly, I firmly believe that you can find NO OTHER VENDORS that are more agreeable, easy to work with, and pleasant than Cory and Mike. It was a JOY TO WORK WITH THEM. They do weddings all the time and have it down to a science. They are quick, professional, personable, and can also work miracles at times. They also do their own catering and flowers, or you can use other vendors for those things. I went with them on the catering and flowers and the whole sha-bang (ceremony and reception) because they really know their stuff and I knew I could trust them for a beautiful outcome. And I was not disappointed in the least. Truly, I think the best decision we made, out of ALL the decisions that need to be made with planning a wedding, was to choose Cory and Mike and Rosebrook. They took almost all the stress out of planning, and I felt confident that our day was in their hands. I cannot thank them enough! (And I can't wait for our professional photos to come back! I know they're going to be GORGEOUS because of how gorgeous the setting is!)
I cannot thank Adam enough for all his hard work at our wedding! He went above and beyond to join in and capture the moments of our day - and I know that's true without even having seen the photos yet. His style is present, but not invasive. He has a remarkable ability to go with the flow, make use of time, connect with a crowd and with individuals, and stay upbeat, despite being with complete strangers in 100+ degree weather!! How does he do that??! I'll never know, but what I do know is that we couldn't have wished for a better photographer. He is the best!
Brides, look no further. You've found the baker for your wedding cake. Teri delivers excellent, personal service for an incredible value. Her work is absolutely beautiful and the taste is out of this world. In fact, I lost count of the number of guests whom I spoke with the night of the wedding, and weeks after, who commented on how GOOD the cake was. What I especially appreciate is how personal the service is; I didn't feel like I was working with a baking company where I wasn't sure who I'd get on the phone or who was making the cake, I knew I was working with Teri, who's as friendly and personable as a next-door-neighbor. Her prices are very reasonable when compared to other bakeries I looked into, and if there's any doubt left in your mind, all you have to do is meet her for a sample of her cake, icing, and filling. Her customer service and the taste will convince you. Teri with Cakes Unlimited is your best choice!! This is one choice you can feel confident you picked the right one! The planning was a little chaotic, but when the day came, the ceremony was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Rev. Claire had a calming, beautiful way of bringing myself (bride), the wedding party, and all of the guests into the very sacred moment of promising our lives to each other. The rest of day had been crazy, not to mention 100+ degree weather, but all of that faded away duing the ceremony because of her choice of words and how she spoke them. I tear up as I write these words, I feel very confident that I will remember that sacred moment in all its beauty because the ceremony she delivered had me present in mind, body, and spirit. Of all the things that happen on the day of my wedding, and of all the things that will become wonderful memories, I'm so glad this was one of the most special.

I'm so glad I found Alicia!! She did a GREAT job with my hair and the hair of my bridesmaids. I wish I could post some photos for you to see. She tells me she LOVES up-do's, and it shows in her work. Our hair held up GREAT throughout the day, despite it being an all-day outdoor event in 100 degree weather. I went to see her beforehand, and we did some practice up-do's to make sure I liked what she did. And her prices can't be beat. We all went to the salon, but I'm pretty sure she'll also come to your location and do hair there. Just be aware that they takes cash only (at least at the time of this review). Go see Alicia! =)
