We were on a tight budget, so we got ordered our flowers from the Giant on Huntsman Square in Springfield. We were so impressed by the quality of the flowers and the employee's flexibility. The arrangements were gorgeous and the staff was very friendly and easy to work with. It looked just like an expensive florist even though it cost a lot less. We were completely happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone. It was convenient, affordable, and the flowers were perfect for our wedding!
Booking Sandy Shepherd was the easiest part of our wedding planning process! She is very friendly, and her work is incredible! Our cake turned out beautiful and elegant. It actually looked better than I had imagined it. Everyone commented on how gorgeous it was and how great it tasted. She is easy to work with and has a lot of talent. I would definately recommend her to anyone else.
NEVER go to the David's Bridal in Springfield, VA unless you want a major headache from dealing with the stress of constantly being screwed over with a smile. It was a mess from the moment we walked in. We dealt with four different managers on several seperate occasions, from getting my dress, getting my bridesmaids dresses, ordering our invitations, and getting their shoes dyed. Each and every time the manager was deliberately rude and condescending. We paid for our bridesmaids dresses IN FULL about two and a half months before the wedding, and were told that we'd get them a month later because they had to order them. When we came in around that time, we found out that the manager had not entered the order into their system for a while after we'd paid, and that our dresses were now due AFTER my wedding. Plus, there are no refunds, so even though I wasn't getting the dresses in time, they refused to give me my money back! I was furious when they told me it wasn't their fault. I made it clear that I was either getting my dresses or getting my money back or I would nail that manager's fat butt to the wall. I couldn't believe she just sat on our order and then told me it was my fault they weren't coming in on time. Plus, she was incredibly rude the whole time. The same thing happened with ordering invitations. I paid for two day shipping and got my invitations three weeks later. On the website it says that it will be guarenteed to ship within 24 hours, but when I called their customer service number to see what was going on, the woman told me that the guarentee meant AFTER they got around to printing them out. The website didn't say that it took two weeks to print. I think it was deliberately set up to make you think you'd be getting your invitations within two days. When I got the invitations, which looked so elegant online, I was disappointed. I could have done that for $50 on my computer with those invitations from Staples. It was definately not worth the money. Another manager even went out of her way to be rude to my sisters, who were just waiting to get their shoes dyed to match the bridesmaids gowns that "miraculously" made it in just in time for the wedding. She kept questioning why they were there and why the bride wasn't with them as if they weren't customers about to hand them their money. She kept making snide comments and harrassing them. They left, of course, and we decided to never deal with them ever again. I got my veil, shoes, and other accessories somewhere else, which was a very pleasant and easy experience. In short, it's obvious that the workers at the David's Bridal in Springfield care nothing about their customers and are just a hack job. I should've known the first time I came in and there was an irate bride yelling because they didn't get her dress in on time. They can make money only because there are so many weddings going on around here, and they're a well known chain. There are only two exceptions to this story: Joy and Amber. They were two employees that genuinely helped us and even seemed to sympathize with us when they saw the managers treating us that way. Thanks guys.

Ms. Gibbs was a wonderful addition to our wedding! She played during the prelude and the ceremony. When we contacted her, she was very helpful with suggestions on what to play while not being pushy. It was obvious that she was flexible and focused on what we had in mind for our wedding. She even contacted the violinist we had booked and worked together with her. She was very professional, and her exceptional talent made our wedding ceremony unique and memorable. We were very pleased with everything she did and would definately recommend her to anyone else.
We went to the Jared's at Fair Lakes, and each time I went in, I was impressed again, not just by thier selection but by their customer service. They were amazingly flexible with what we needed. My husband got my engagement and wedding rings at the same time, and they were the wrong finger size. Jared fixed this is under an hour on a Saturday! They were very busy, but it felt like I was their only customer. I had bought my husband's ring at JC Penny, but in order to have it engraved, I would have to send it away for two weeks. I went to Jared and they engraved it on site in 30 minutes. They were always friendly
