I got complements from nearly all of my guests about how beautiful the venue was. The staff was great and very flexible. Through no fault of Pioneer Park, the City of Puyallup decided to do some construction right behind our ceremony. Sarah Harris (the manager) arranged to hide the construction with pipe and drape. No one even noticed the construction zone!
I can't rave enough about the staff at Gallucci's. To begin with, one of the Owners, Anne, came to our home to discuss what we were interested in. Before we booked anything, a chef came to our home again and cooked our menu for me, my fiance, my grandfather, and three friends. The food was absolutely amazing and we loved hanging out with Johnny for the night. On my wedding day, everything was amazingly smooth and coordinated, I had never met her, but Mariah already knew who my parents were (and that they don't drink alcohol) and what my husband and I preferred to drink. She kept us going all night with drinks, food, and water - usually before we even asked. Everyone raved about the food and service. I am thrilled we went with Gallucci's and I am convinced that my wedding would not have been as wonderful without them.
The Staff from my wedding really made the effort to go above and beyond the call of duty. They gave us chocolate dipped strawberries as a special (complimentary) treat, prepared a snack bag for our wedding night, even offered to return the cake tier to Celebrity Cakes. Mariah even helped bustle my wedding dress!
Celebrity Cake Studios was great. They let us come in and basically design our own mini cake and cupcakes. They were completely on board with the kind of look we wanted, and they made it happen. They had some extra suggestions, (like using sugar crystals to make them sparkly) that were competely in line with what we wanted. Bravo!

Although I found the owner very personable, he wasn't available to actually DJ our wedding. Leeanna seemed very prepared when I met with her before the wedding. She arrived on time, but then there seemed to be some confusion about the timeline and what would happen when. When my husband and I returned from pictures, she was supposed to announce have everyone seated, announce us, and open the buffet. Apparently her microphone wasn't working, so a friend made the "announcement" and walked from table to table to open the buffet. When the time came for toasts, the wireless microphone wasn't working, so the best man and maid of honor had to stand in the middle of the dance floor while they gave their speeches. It was rather awkward. At one point, doors were opened and most of hte guests were outside looking at fireworks adn she played all of my favorite songs. I wasn't even in the room. No one really danced to her music, but she did have Karaoke available, and that really livened up the party.
Everything ended up fine, but I would have preferred a more professional looking set up for Karaoke, and maybe a little more attantion paid to the guests and how they are reacting to the music.
We were absolutely thrilled with Marty and Jeff Holmes. Marty was incredibly responsive to me though the process of writing my vows, offering suggestions as needed, or just being available for discussion. Jeff was perfect as our officiant - solemn, but not glum, serious, but happy.
Marty and Jeff met with us in person on two separate occasions for dinner, but times just haning out and spending a little time together. They understood what an important thing marriage is, and that we wanted to make sure that the person helping us make that step was someone we knew and trusted. I highly recommend them both. We Do..I Do's responded with the the following comments: You did such a beautiful job on your wedding planning and your mom was awesome!! It was so special to be part of your day!!
