This venue was excellent. The event coordinator, Alice Small, was wonderful. She was incredibly accomodating--anything I wanted, I got! She was very knowledgeable and made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, when in reality she did 2-3 weddings per weekend!
The hotel itself is beautiful, customer service/staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. The food was AMAZING! We had a buffet, but had a unique idea of "stations" and Alice said, sure, we haven't done that before, but lets try it! and it came out great. Drinks were great, too. I don't know exactly how much we spent on the event, as my parents paid for it, but I know that they were very pleased as well at the service, quality of food, and just everything. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone else--Alice is what sealed the deal for us!
Overall, I was not happy with this photographer. We used them based on a recommendation from a family member and reputation. Though the quality of the pictures turned out okay, the professionalism was horrible. It took us 5 months to get our album back (thoguh, our proofs only took a few weeks and they were online which was nice). I felt like we had to hound them to even get it back in that time! They said that they were slow that time of year due to proms and graduations, and they had to let an assistant go and train a new one. Thats not a good excuse in my opinion. Also, I felt there was a lot of creativity lacking in the pictures. Also, he never took some shots that were "must -do's" as we had asked him before the big day. After all was said and done, our album is very nice (we got an art book), but everything leading up to the final product was just a bad experience.
In my opinion, the cons of this vendor out weigh the pros. Best to shop around.
Wonderful! Highly recommend. Susie was very easy to work with. We went to 1 tasting, and selected our cake. She was accomodating and let us really customize it the way we wanted. It was $800 for a 3 tier cake to feed 130 people. Definitely worth the money. I heard great things from our guests and the piece I had was amazing. No problems working with her at all.
Overall, we were happy with this band. Our guests all said great things about them. The quality/peformance was very good from what I remember and from what I heard. However, one problem was that I specifically gave them a "do not play list" and repeated numerous times that this was a big concern for me and they promised they would honor my wishes. However, they played several songs from that list! That was probably my biggest problem with them (effects their professionalism and flexibility in my opinion). I'm not sure what we paid as my parents paid for it, but I know my mother was a little unhappy with the professionalism during the big day--I think they demanded some breaks that were not in the contract. They also provided the ceremony music, and that was beautiful.

Awesome! She did a wonderful job on my makeup, and the makeup of my wedding party and mother. I can't say anything negative--she used an airbrush, makeup lasted all day, flawless. She also has a great personality!
