Caprile at the Doubletree Downtown Houston is AMAZING! She was always willing to work with us and to make changes that fit within our budget and our needs. We ended up with the most beautiful wedding we could have ever asked for. We highly recommend!
Margie and Robert are absolutely AMAZING! I spent a lot of time looking for a photographer for my wedding and they were the absolute best. I was planning my wedding from out of town and they made it easy. They are SO flexible, and they have the ability to capture moments at exactly the right moments. Margie is amazing and on the day of the wedding, she was really acting as an extra bridesmaid! She helped to adjust my hair and everything to make sure I looked my best. My family and friends won't stop talking about how amazing the pictures are. They are truly a talented and wonderful team. From beginning to end, they were so easy to work with and were willing to make adjustments to cater your needs for what you want. They were definitely one of the best parts of our wedding. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend them!
We went with Dream Bouquet on the recommendation of our venue catering manager. Overall, Rebekah and her team were great! They are a bit pricey, but I came to the conclusion that flowers really help to decorate your wedding, so it is worth it so long as you can cut down your costs elsewhere.
The price of my bridesmaids bouquets were more expensive than the pew arrangements, however they were about the same in size. I would say to make sure with Rebekah and her team what the size of things are, just so you can ensure that you get your money's worth. Also, the person that was working on the day of my event forgot to bring vases for the bridesmaids bouquets to the reception, which made them wilt very quickly. Also, be careful which types of flowers you get with your boutineers, I had freesia, and they sort of looked wilted at the ceremony and at the reception.
However, Rebekah and her team did an AMAZING job with my bouquet and with the centerpieces, flower petals everywhere, and my cake was amazing. All in all, I would definitely recommend them!
Our wedding cake was through Cake Affairs. It looked and tasted AMAZING! I would highly recommend. I have a very sweet tooth, and at most weddings I have been to, I have been disappointed by a beautiful looking, but dry tasting cake.
Cake Affairs definitely matches the beauty with the taste! It was GREAT!
I would definitely NOT recommend DJ's Unlimited. Although Bill is very nice and is very helpful, one of the best and worst things about chosing DJ's Unlimited is that they tell you not to worry about anything until 2 weeks before your event.
Of course when planning my wedding, this was GREAT! However, the 2 weeks before your wedding (or at least mine) were crazy. Trying to get everything to the DJ, have him understand my song choices, and to know the spelling and pronunciation of my bridal party was a nightmare. The day of the wedding went fine, although it was still a bit unorganized.
Seeing as the DJ is one of the most important parts of your wedding, I would make sure that if you go with DJ's unlimited to do your homework BEFORE the 2 weeks to your wedding deadline comes up. Best of luck!
