The Westlake Club is a gorgeous facility located off of I-10 near Highway 6. It is hidden away in the Energy Corridor. It is a private club but open for hosting various events especially weddings, receptions. The coordinator there, Jennifer O'Keefe is awesome, she will make it happen for you. The food is amazing! We didn't have an open bar or even alcohol served so I can't speak on that but they do offer that. We had a buffet style dinner with a cocktail hour with butler passed hors d'oveures. Everything was amazing! I can not have been happier with the outcome and I would definitely recommend this facility to any bride for her wedding. You will not be disappointed! I had a theme for my wedding it was called "Red Carpet Glamour- New York to Los Angeles." I live in Los Angeles now and spent seven years in New York and wanted to do something to bring both of those lives and adventures that my husband and I experienced to our reception. I want the photographers and videographers to do everything as if they were papparazzi. And they did it! We have at least 2700 pics to choose from! LOL! During the reception, I had a red carpet with flashing lights that everyone had to work down as if they were going to a premiere(this was used by an outsider vendor, Darrell Merchants). Tony and his crew literally took pictures of everything!! We couldn't believe it! I truly felt like a superstar on my superstar day. Donna is great. She is very friendly and accommodating. Her prices are affordable and won't ruin your budget. This is a family owned business. You meet with her at the actual shop and will not only be shown pictures but actual flowers not a powerpoint presentation of pictures. She did a wonderful job on my bridal party and parents flowers, bouquets, etc. I was truly impressed. I would definitely recommend!
Jessie is awesome. I brought in a picture of the cake that I wanted and she had no problems and it turned out better than the picture! I also had a groom's cake, it was a football field with a football in the middle with the Dallas Cowboys star, my husband is a huge Dallas fan. He loved it and it was all chocolate, people went wild! She was patient, accommodating. Everything was done fresh and delivered on time. She is also on the preferred vendor list for the Westlake Club. Her shop is on highway 6 not too far from West Oaks Mall. The cakes were delicious and I had put together cake boxes, so many of my guests were taking several pieces of cake home to enjoy later! Rosa, the seamstress at Panache is golden. She is awesome! I love her so much. I do not live in Houston and she was able to get my fittings done on two visits. I got married on August 2 and my first fitting was June 21 when I was in town for my bridal shower. My next fitting was July 29 when I arrived for my wedding, she knew exactly what she was doing and she was very patient and gentle with everything. She steamed my dress and veil. The owner and other ladies that work at Panache are wonderful as well, the salon is located on FM 1960 but it is worth it. If they don't have it, they can get it for you. I highly recommend this shop for all of your formal needs.
Victor Harris at Complete Music was great and easy to work with. His presentation of services at our first meeting was the best we saw. The payment schedule is easy and accommodating and you are promised everything that is in your contract. He was also our MC for the evening and an excellent job. Our music selection was diverse and all of our guests were pleased and were able to make special requests. The lights that came with our package were great as well. Very professional, on time. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a DJ. See if you can request Victor!

She will work for you. She is efficient and very flexible and accommodating. All though I got married in Houston, I live in Los Angeles and did all of my planning via telphone, email, text messaging and camera phone pictures. I had the help of my mother as well to help and be my eyes and ears when she met with Sharon to help pick vendors, flowers, etc. She is able to work with any budget and will cater her services to your needs, whether you are on a budget or planning a platinum wedding.
