The Spring Chateau seemed so perfect and the only reception venue that was not gauging you with high prices. Well that's because nothing is included in their price. They will nickel and dime you to death! Whenever I would call up and ask a question, they either did not know and said they would call me back and never did or they would just say whatever they thought was right which never was. It was very hard to reach them, even harder to get them to call you back. The staff and on hand coordinator that you have to pay an extra $250 for were not helpful at all. They like to do as little as possible to get by. You should see their office, it looks like a bomb went off. The people working there seem like they are on drugs, they never know anything. They aren't organized at all, when I would drop by to pay this or that, they would have to search all over for my file, it was never in the same place or where it should have been. They only allow 100 people in their 400 person capacity hall or else you have to pay $6.50 a head for any number over 100! They were terribly unorganized on the day of my actual reception, I spent more time talking to the coordinator than to my guest. Oh and they were rushing my family out at the end after me and the groom had left. Oh and you know how you use bird seed, or flowers petals or something neat at the end to throw at the bride and groom? Well birdseed and flower petals were not allowed so they told me I could either use sparklers, bubbles, or bells. Well we deiceded to do sparklers because it sounded neat. I kid you not, one week before the wedding when I brought it up to them, they said, "Oh you can't use sparklers anymore. We had in incedent last weekend where someone got hurt and part of the facility was damaged and sparklers are not allowed anymore." I was FURIOUS! They are terrible, unorganized, unhelpful, and kind of ghetto there. I would never refer someone to that place, EVER.
Chef Randy is a nice guy and was very helpful when my cake fell over to try and preserve it, but the food he made just wasn't very good. We ordered the grilled chicken and fettucine noodles with alfredo sauce. He also provided salad with a few different dressings, bread, and iced tea with all the condiments. he also provides all the plates, napkins, cups etc. So you get a lot for your money but the quality of the product wasn't that great. Sorry Chef Randy, but the chicken was rubbery!
I absolutely love David! I would 110% recommend him to anyone! He really cares about your event and does whatever it takes to get every last detail done for you. He is awesome, he kind of becomes like a friend to you after everything is said and done. When I was getting dressed in the dressing room and crying my eyes out, he kept saying, "It's ok sweetie." And was ask me if I was ok everytime I got emotional, he was really concerned for me and was really devoted to making my pictures outstanding. At the reception he pretty coordinated everything. He told us where we needed to be and when and was just super helpful. I would never go to anyone else. He even dropped stuff off at the reception for me on his way to the church! We loved him!
This is a husband and wife couple who work from their home, the wife doesn't even speak English. This company misrepresented themselves and their company. They showed me a picture album of cakes to get ideas from claiming they were cakes that they had made when they weren't. They were other cake bakers' images. The two designs I chose for my cake from their picture album did not look anything like the ones on the cake they actually delivered. The tiers of the cake were supposed to have ribbon tied around them with a bow to the side, the ribbons were cut in pieces and wrapped around and were falling off as opposed to just putting one long string of ribbon around it. Oh yeah and the cake was cracked and tilted when they delivered it and was almost on its side when I arrived to the reception! On the groom's cake, the colors were wrong and the design was nothing like what we duscussed. All of the colors on both cakes were bleeding and running together, everything was a total disaster. They had all the designs and colors on the contract that they gave us and still couldn't get it right. Please don't trust them with your dream wedding cake because you will be severely disappointed. I am now working on getting a refund, we will see if they call us back!
This place was kind of unorganized. The didn't call me back when they said they would. The owner Denise, didn't always seem that friendly. I bought 6 bridesmaid dresses from them and we didn't get any kind of discount for buying that many. They always had to search to find my paperwork, etc. Just an unoragnized place.
The DJ was ok, but kind of unorganized. When we spoke before the event, I told him some specific songs I wanted played, and even more specific songs for like the father daughter dance, garter toss, etc. Almost none of the songs I requested were played, a lot of songs I did not request were played. And for the father daughter dance, he started playing the wrong song while me and my dad were on the dance floor and everyone staring at us. We told him that it was wrong, and told him which one to play. My dad and I were standing in the middle of the dance floor with everyone staring at us in silence for like 5 minutes while the DJ searched and found the song on his giant old school computer. The garter toss, bouquet toss songs were also wrong. Also, he kept playing like 90's rap that I never asked him to play and nobody was dancing! It was terrible! At least we had music at all, that all I can say.

The music was great! The band was even nice enough to play a 20 second interval for a down time period at the last minute. I asked them for this right before the wedding started and it was no problem. Shelli was always nice and responded to all my emails almost immediately. They were able to play whatever I wanted as long as I got them the music, which I did. It was awesome. I Would definitely recommend!
