Kelly Barusso (event coordinator) is an absolute gem. From the moment she toured us around the property, shared our catering options (there are several companies to choose from), and helped us envision different creative options...I was in love every step of the way. The value you receive is unique for the location. The property is located on Bass Rocks, which is also known as the "Back Shore." The Atlantic sprawls across a panorama of windows. For anywhere on Cape Ann, particularly Gloucester, there is no where you will get more for your money.
Tom blew us off our feet with the tasting he provided us. He also assured us that he would be the chef on our Big Day. If you look around, you may see just as I did, that most caterers can offer neither of these options.
Marissa ran the front-of-the-house on our Big Day, and organized everything leading up to it. She kept me at ease with all of the details during the weeks before the wedding.
They were both terrific in dealing with vegetarians, pescatarians, and allergies.
On our wedding day, the food somehow surpassed our expectations. From the coconut (jumbo) shrimp passed-hors d'eouvres...to the Petite Filet/Baked Haddock surf n' turf...We couldn't have been happier. Everything ran smoothly.
Just when you think you're gonna have to sit out the next one...nope...there's another song that will not allow your feet to leave the dance floor. They can do anything...any song you dreamed they might not know...they're happy to learn for you.
I choreographed a surprise dance for my groom to a Christina Aguilera song they were unfamaliar with, and I was completely satisfied to have an MP3 played for it. On our Big Day...my bridesmaids and I were ready to groove...and I hear Danielle belting out the lyrics. She sounded better than Christina, as did the rest of the band!
They are having so much fun doing what they do, and it is apparent to everyone. I've never seen a better wedding band. Never.
At the last minute (two weeks before my wedding), my father talked me into hiring a videographer. I still can't believe Jason happened to be free. After researching for two days, he was still my number one choice.
His videos are thorough and classy. Timeless. I am forever a fan of his work.
By far, the most affordable wedding invitations I found. The best part is that they do not skimp on quality. Each piece of the invite was sturdy and clean cut, even the envelopes were terrific.
And even though I created and ordered the entire set online, I received an email and a phone call from one of there employees verifying the entire order. Their site is so user-friendly...anyone can do it.
Rick is a sweetheart. From first meeting, I knew he'd be terrific.
He sent us an electronic file of example ceremonies. My man and I proceeded to cut, paste, and edit what we liked from this file to create our very own vows.
We wanted a ten minute beach ceremony, and that's exactly what we got. He was affordable, timely and professional. He was also cheesy...which was just perfect.
The trolley we rode was immaculate; it was also fully stocked with Bubbly, water, cheese, and crackers. Allan (our excellent driver) was timely, and even fit-in a stop at the packie so that the groomsmen could pick-up some beers.
He brought the flutes and beverages down to the beach...along with blankets for us to sit on and to shield ourselves from the cold wind.
Allan's exuded the warmest, friendliest attitude from the moment he helped me onto the trolley with the enormous train on my gown. I highly recommend A Perfect Limo's vehicles and services.
This was the one and only place my fiance went to purchase wedding bands. Not only was the shopping an absolute breeze, but the prices were very reasonable.
My husband lost almost forty pounds in the months leading up to our wedding. And his band was a full size too big when we were wed...so we brought it back to Long's afterward to have it resized. They didn't charge us a cent to have it fixed...and it still looks like new!
